Starlooks, who sent me this box to review, is a makeup subscription box. Starlooks is a PRO quality makeup line, comparable to Makeup Forever, Sephora, M.A.C, Chanel, Dior, and other department store brands at which you would normally have to pay hundreds of dollars for just 3-4 FULL SIZE products. Starlooks sends $35.00 – $99.00 worth of makeup, for only $15.00 a month. I have fallen in love with Starlooks from my Ipsy and Wantable boxes. I was excited to check out Starlooks subscription box, and at $15.00, how can you go wrong. Did I mention, they also have a rewards program!
I signed up for a subscription when Wantable had a Cyber Monday deal. The offer was a free box when you buy a box. I decided to get the makeup subscription. I reviewed Wantable in November and really loved how well they catered the box to my preferences. When you sign up for Wantable, you fill out a survey, so Wantable finds out your style. The Box Information Sheet Wantable includes a paper with your preferences and a list of all the box contents. Wantable also includes a description of each product, along with their retail value. Holiday Box Three was an advertisement for the Holiday box, unfortunately, they are all sold out. Wantable Wantable included a card, stating you can share your pictures on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and they may be used by Wantable Rainbow Honey Nail Lacquer Sakura Matsuri Namesake $10.00 This is full of pink and white blossoms, adorned by holographic and iridescent glitters. It is free from Formaldehyde, Toluene, and Dibutyl Phthalate and none of the ingredients have been tested on animals. Cailyn Cosmetics Ultra Moisturing Lip Color Pot Pink Sugar $14.00 These leave a nice color on your lips and moisturize them very well. You can apply this with a make up brush, or just with your finger. I love lip gloss and this is a fun pink color. Starlooks Single Shadow Compact Enter Eden $12.00 I really like Starlooks makeup. This is a great color. This can be used as a over all color or just to accentuate the crease. Michael Marcus Prime Foundation Brush $36.00 This brush can be used to apply foundation, concealer or primer. I have never used a brush for foundation/concealer, but I am excited to try it. Ipsy is one of my fun subscriptions. Ipsy sends out a Glam Bag full of full size and sample beauty products, for $10.00 a month. You fill out a survey about your makeup preferences and then Ipsy sends a bag geared to your preferences. Once you get your bag, you can review your items online, and tell Ipsy what you thing. I love the reusable bags, because they are always so cute and functional. The Bag I say this every time, but I love the Ipsy envelopes. This month’s theme is “Glam is Up” You can take a picture of your bag this month and share it on Instagram or Facebook, to try to win a 1 year Glam Bag subscription Em Flyer Em is giving 30% percent off to Ipsy subscribers on the emconsmetics.com/ipsy by using the code ipsy30 Pixi Beauty Bronzer Subtly Suntouched $18.00 I am not sure if I am going to try this. I am VERY pale and this looks pretty dark. I may try to trade this for something else. Starlooks Eye Pencil in Topaz $14.00 I always wear black eyeliner, but I will wear this. This is fun silver color. I am not brave enough to rock some wild eyeliners, so the silver is perfect. Em Michelle Phan Lash Gallery Mascara $20.00 This is part of the new line Em, by Michelle Phan. This mascara has a scoop brush that lifts and curls lashes, as it lengthens. This is smudge proof and smear proof, that lengthens without clumping. Honestly, I was a bit disappointing that I received mascara. I would rather have eye shadow, lip gloss or blush. It is nice mascara, just not exciting. Be a Bombshell Lip Crayon in Hot Dam* $14.00 This is an exciting red color. This is reserved for date night, butContinue Reading
