The LooksBook comes in a little cardboard box. There is a magnet that keeps the lid closed, so this is easily taken with you.
This is the premier LooksBook.
The back of the card had details about the new LooksBook program. Starlooks also has a referral program.
First Look, the LooksBook is really nice.
There is an instruction book on the lid that tells you how to use each product, with specific suggestions on what kind of brush to use.
Jet Set: This is a pale peach lipstick and is really moisturizing. It a bit too pale for my tastes, but it will be a great lipstick to go under a brighter shade.
This is a swatch of Jet Set.
Aqua: This is sparkly aqua blue eyeshadow, that can apply like a lipstick, although Starlooks recommends using a small shadow brush. I love this color and it reminds me of a mermaid. While all the products are “perfect size” (about 3/4 of full size), this product appears to be full size.
This is a swatch of Aqua.
Ritz/Tropic: I first thought these were eyeshadows, but Ritz is a highlighter and Tropic is a pretty peach blush. The highligher is great, and the blush is adds a nice flush to my cheeks.
These are the swatches.
There were three $15.00 gift cards included: two for Torrain and one for The Laboratory. Torrain is a recycled bag store and The Laboratory is a fashion and accessories box. I am not sure if I will use these as The Laboratory has a $30.00 minimum purchase and Torrain is pretty expensive.
Final Thought: I didn't do a price breakdown on this box, due to the products being limited to this box. I will say, that the perfect size cosmetics sell for around $6.00-$13.00 each, so I think this box had a nice value. LooksBook is a nice subscription to get makeup items that all coordinate together. The colors in this month's box were not exactly my colors, but I think they are workable. If I had to choose between LooksBook and the Custom box, I would pick the Custom, because I love picking out my own items. If you want to try Starlooks, check them out here.

I like the looks of this box but I’ve never tried this brand. Can you estimate the value of the box?
The “perfect size” cosmetics in their line sell for around $6.00 – $13.00 each. I would say this has around a $31.00 value ($13.00 for the duo and $9.00 each for the eyeshadow and lipstick). The eye shadow had a nice amount of product, so it could be more.
