Kiwi Crate just came out with a Halloween crate. I was excited to get it, because I knew my son (age 4) would love it. The special edition Halloween crate is $19.95 and you must buy it separate from the regular subscription. There are two projects in the Glowing Halloween crate: 1. My Halloween Lights (make lights that really shine) and 2. My Glowing Ghost (the ghost can be worn as a reflector on Halloween. The Information Card Kiwi Crate always includes an information card with full color photos. Everything Kiwi Crate does is very kid friendly. If you are new to Kiwi Crate, it is designed for children 3-7. Back of the Information Card Kiwi Crate always has Kiwi figurines on the back of the information card. They are designed to be colored, cut out and played with in the box. My Glowing Ghost The ring glows when you press the button. The ring goes inside the dome, to make the ghost head. There is a string, so the child can tie it on to their bag, costume or wear it around their wrist. Full Color Directions All the directions are full color and easy for the child to understand My Halloween Lights In this craft, the child uses paper and modge podge to decorate the jars. There are bat pieces and pipe cleaners to make spider legs. Kiwi Crate included 4 battery powered lights to go in each jar. These would make a great seasonal nightlight. Full Color Instructions Again, each set of instructions are in full color and easy for a child to understand. This helps pre-readers understand what they are supposed to do without help from mom and dad. The Box This is everything in the box. This will be a great Halloween activity toContinue Reading

There was an issue with the yellow paint, and it squirted all out (I was doing a test on a piece of paper). I was able to clean up the mess, but I contacted Kiwi Crate, just to let them know. Kiwi said they would send out new supplies for the boat and I was more than happy. I received the box today. We got the sails, paint AND a package of markers and a cute Kiwi Plush. All I can say is WOW. Kiwi is worth every bit of the money. By the way, did you know Kiwi Crate named their little Kiwi bird? His name is Steve. My son named his penguin. I can’t express how much my son (and I) love Kiwi Crate. Of all the boxes we get, this is the box that I think is most worth the money. I think it is a bargain for the price. This month’s theme is nature. There are two main crafts. The first is my starlight lantern and the second is my collection box. There were tons of craft materials in this months box. We got a surprise gift I this month, a deck of cards. Here is the June Box
