I was really excited to get my Julep Maven box this month. This month, Julep released their lip gloss. I really love lip gloss, so I got the Modern Beauty Box. This is the first time I have got the Modern Beauty box. Modern Beauty usually doesn’t have any nail polish, so that is why I normally don’t choose it. I was so excited about the lip products this month, I added on two more lip glosses. Modern Beauty Box First Look Lip Products Sample and Information There is always a quote in every box. This month’s quote was “There’s no place like home” by Dorothy Julep also included a holiday gift guide with several new bundles. There was also a sample of Luxe Repair Skin Serum. This is supposed to deeply hydrate your skin and help rebuild skin structure from the inside out. Blank Canvas Plumping Lip Primer This is a primer that plumps, moisturizes, and preps your lips for color. This gave my lips a tingle and reminded me of some Burt Bees lip treatment I have. I love how it makes my lips look and feel. It also has a pail pink color to it.*Update: I didn’t realize it at the time, but my lip primer continued to come out, after using it. It took several clicks to “prime” it, which I didn’t think was unusual. Apparently, it kept coming out, as there was a mess in my lip.
