Ashton Kutcher Fancy Box Review

I have been wanting my husband to find the right box for him to subscribe to.  C had watched several videos of the Ashton Kutcher A+ Fancy Box and decided to sign up.
Details:
Cost: $39.00 a month.  Use FOLLOWUP10 to save 10% on your first box.
What is in the box?  You get more than $80.00 worth of items every month.  Each box is curated by Ashton Kutcher.

When will I get my 1st box? “Orders placed before the 12th of the calendar month will ship on the 15th of the same month. Orders placed after the 12th of the calendar month will ship on the 15th of the following calendar month.”

When am I billed? You are billed the same day every month that you order.  If your order Sept 2nd, you will be billed in Oct on Oct 2nd.
Shipment: The Ashton Kutcher Fancy box is shipped by Fed Ex

First Look

The box contents were shipped in a large box with lots of packing material.  There was an envelope with a return shipment label.  I have found out since that you can't return the subscription boxes.  I am not sure why it was included in the box.  There was also a couple of Fancy stickers.

Box Items
This is how all the items were packaged at the bottom of the box.
Two Tone Woven Cotton Belt by Men in Cities $40.00

This belt comes in green, grey, beige and black.  C was not a fan of the green.  He would have loved the grey, beige or black.

Ashton Says “Let loose and still look stylish.  This belt'll keep your secret if your waistline needs a bit more space at dinner.

Neon Rim Frames by Isaac Jacobs  $15.00

C liked this and plans to put it on his desk at work.  This is a nice frame and has a nice design.

Ashton Says “When a picture's worth 1,000 words, this minimal frame lets mine continue to do the talking.”

Wooden Alarm Clock Box By Kikkerland $30.00
C likes this item the most.  When you clap, the time displays on the block of wood.
Ashton Says: “Give a quick clap, and the time appears on the clock.  So much more fun than slapping for the snooze button in the morning”
Maps Rocks Glass $13.00

This is a nice heavy glass and there is a map of Manhattan etched along the outside.  C cute his thumb a bit when he took it out of the box.  There was some pieces of the factory etching left.  It is a nice glass and will hold a nice Jack and Coke.

Ashton Says: “Learn more about a new city (or the one you are proud to call your own) while enjoying a drink out of these glasses.  Sit back, relax and you'll be street smart in no time”.

The Information Cards
The Box

Final Thought: I contacted Fancy after C cut his finger on the glass.  Fancy has an online chat option on their website.  Someone followed up with me the next day and gave me a $15.00 gift card for the trouble.  We were also offered to return the box if we chose.  I am pleased with the customer service at Fancy Box.  My husband really likes the picture frame and clock.  We are getting another box next month to see how C likes it.  The glass is nice but we will be careful of the etching.  C would have really loved the belt had it been another color.  I have seen other boxes and some people got beige.  Overall this box was okay, but C wasn't thrilled with it.  C is looking forward to next month, to see if it is better.

The socks were packaged and shipped in all Eco friendly materials. I like that from the top-down, everything is environmentally friendly.
The Socks
Why bamboo socks? You may be wondering why these socks are special, and why you shouldn't just go to Target and pick up a pair of socks.  These socks are made from bamboo.  Bamboo has natural properties that wick moisture from your feet, prevent bacteria and increases circulation in your feet.  Bamboo is also good for the Earth.  It takes 24,000 gallons of water to turn cotton into a pound of fabric.  Bamboo only needs 12.
I was sent two pairs of socks: men's dress socks and women's ankle socks
Men's dress socks
Women's ankle socks
First Observations:
When I opened up the socks, I noticed how incredibly soft they were.  The socks have reinforced toes.  I was really excited to try out the socks.
The Test:
I wasn't able to test the men's socks, because my husband has a size 14 foot (the socks only go to 12).  I tested out the women's socks.  I wore them around the house all day, while taking care of my two small children.  I am pretty picky about my socks and usually just go barefoot because my feet get too hot.  These socks stayed put and were comfortable all day.
I decided to also test them on a run.  I really enjoy running (I just started in May), but I haven't found the right running socks.  These socks worked great.  I really wish I could get a whole running outfit made like these socks.
The Package

Final Thought: I am really impressed with these socks.  I was disappointed that my husband can't wear them, but not many people wear a size 14 shoe.  I love the women's socks.  I really like the reinforced toe and I think it will keep my socks from getting holes in them.  Zocksters are incredibly comfortable and really keep your feet cool and dry.  If you would like to sign up for Zockster, go to http://www.zockster.com/.  Even better, Zockster is letting me do a give away for a 1 month box (3 pairs of socks).  Enter Below.

Watanut ships priority mail.

I love boxes that ship priority mail.  I don't have to track it for 2 weeks, waiting for it to find my house.  Quick deliveries are great!

Inside the box, was a little welcome note

The welcome note thanks you for choosing Watanut.  All of the snacks are packed with healthy fats, protein, vitamins and minerals.  One of the things I love about Watanut is they give back to Boys and Girls Clubs.  I love companies that have a philanthropic focus.

There was also a sticker and a little card with a coin.
I love the card.  It says “Share a nickel, not your nuts.”

Thru-Hike “Good enough to go all the way”

This contains cranberries, roasted almonds, roasted and salted cashews.  I normally don't like almonds, but the cranberries make this a delicious snack.

The Happy Nut

These are salted pistachios and are very tasty.  I am actually munching on these as I type my review.  These have a great flavor.

Wild Bill's Buffalo Mix

This contains buffalo peanuts, unsalted peanuts, buttermilk ranch pretzel bits, and sunflower seeds.  This is the most unique snack of the box.  It is sweet, salty with a kick of buffalo, all at the same time.  It is very tasty

A Walk in the Woods
This contains rolled oats, honey, brazil nuts, cashews coconut, and cinnamon.  This is amazing!  This tastes like a cinnamon cookie crushed up.  I hate coconut but this snack is so good.  I can't taste the coconut.
The Whole Box

The inside of the box has a picture of Springer Mountain in Georgia.  It is located at the terminus of the Appalachian Trail.  I would love to go there, it looks beautiful.

Final Thought:   This is an amazing box.  My favorite snack is the pistachios and yes, I am still eating them.  The portions are huge.  There are 6 ozs in each container.  I have been eating the pistachios while typing my review, and there is hardly a dent in the container.  The snacks are wonderful and you get a pound and a 1/2 of them!  If you are interested in signing up, go to www.watanut.com   Use the code GONUTS25 to get 25% off your first box.
