It was hard to decide what
Julep Maven box to get. I loved the red in Classic with a twist. Anisa. I really wasn't crazy about the grey-beige color, Winona. I also loved It Girl this month. I decided to stay with Classic with a Twist and trade Winona on a swap board. Julep is $19.95 a month, but the nice part is, you can skip any month. When you sign up, you fill out a style profile, and are assigned to one of five styles: Modern Beauty, It Girl, Bombshell, BoHo Glam, and Classic with a Twist, Every month, BoHo Glam, Bombshell and Classic with a Twist gets 2 polishes and then a beauty/makeup/nail item. It Girl always has 3 polishes. Modern Beauty always get two beauty, makeup, nail care, or skin care items.

| Candy Corn |
Julep always include a little bonus item. This month's item was candy corn. My boys are going to enjoy this. I am not a fan.

| Kajal Eye Glider with sharpener |
I was glad to get a make up item this month. I haven't tried this yet, but I like eye pencils. I also like the sharpener.

| Alisa |
I love this red. It is the reason I chose this box. I love the color.

| Winona |
I was not a fan of this color. It is a beige-grey color. I am trading this for another color, with person from an online swap group.

| Casper |
This is a white sparkly color that glows in the dark. I think this will be fun for Halloween.

| The Whole Box |
Final Thought This was a pretty nice month. I love Alisa and Casper! I love being a part of an online community, so I can trade colors I don't love. I might skip next month. Taste Trunk is a gourmet food subscription box that send 5-10 food items a month for $29.00. They also send coupons, background on the companies and recipes. There are four tasty trunks to choose from: Gourmet, Sweet, BBQ and Healthy. I love getting my Taste Trunks. They are always packed with food and have a good value. They ship in a priority mail box, and are always heavy. They are very beautifully put together. Everything is wrapped in tissue paper and tied with burgundy ribbon.

I love finding new and unique subscription boxes. I have found three totally unique subscription boxes.

She Hit Pause Studios $25.00 a quarter. Each quarter you get a 4×5 signed Poloroid that has been transferred and matted on a 8×10.

Pen Pop Press Subscription $15.00 a month. Each month you will get
one vintage magazine and envelope of ephemera containing related photos, postcards, and pamphlets and a brief newsletter from Pen Pop Press. Each month will get a magazine from the month of September, but it may be from 1974 or 1954.

Mommy Splurge to bring you my favorites from September! I liked so many boxes this month, it was hard to pick my favorites. I ended up picking my top 7. I don't know why I ended up with 7, and not 5 or 10, but that's what I did. If you click on the name of each box, that will take you to my review. The list is in no particular order.

1. My Sensory Box was a total hit with my boys, especially my 4 year old. It is currently in my kitchen and is a great toy when I am cooking. My sons asks to play with this every day!

2. Me Undies. I loved the underwear from Me Undies. It is the most comfortable underwear ever!

| Kiwi Crate |
3. Kiwi Crate is always one of my favorite subscription boxes. L loves it, and does all the projects. It helps his fine motor skills and he learns something too!

4. The September Popsugar Must Have Box was a big hit. I liked everything in it. My favorite items were the coasters and the headbands

5. Taste Trunk: I switched from the BBQ Taste Trunk to the Sweet Trunk This time. I loved everything in it and it is all almost gone.

6. Mia Tempo means “Me Time”. I loved the smell of this box: Amber and Fig. There were so many products in the box and it screamed LUXURY. There is actually a 3 month giveaway going on HERE for 3 months of Mia Tempo.
