November Kiwi Crate and Half Off Code

If I could only get one box, I would get Kiwi Crate.  It is my son L's favorite box.  Kiwi Crate has also helped my son learn his letters.  As soon as he sees the green box on the doorstep, he wants to run and play with it.  Kiwi Crate is $19.95 a month, but if you use my link HERE, you can save $10.00 on your first box.  Kiwi Crate also has a great online customer interface.  You can skip months, or cancel right from your account.  On the few times I have contacted customer support, they have always responded promptly and with a friendly attitude.
The Box
First Look
The top card always has the 2 main projects in the box.  This month's theme was Storytelling.  The first project was My Story Theater and the second, was my string puppet.
Back of the Card
The back of the card has a kiwi bird and some friends the child can color, cut out and play with in the box.
Explore Magazine
This is a great new addition to Kiwi Craft.  Every month, there is a magazine filled with activities, stories and games to do to.  There is usually a bonus craft inside too.
Holiday Crates
Kiwi Crate sent an advertisement for some of their bonus crates.
My String Puppet Theater Supplies
My Story Theater Supplies
My Monster Bookmark
Kiwi Crate included  a bonus craft this the Explore magazine.  It is a monster bookmark
The Supplies
I like that Kiwi Crate included full size products with every box.  If they send markers, they send a whole box of markers.
Working on the puppet
Finished String Puppet
This was a very fun project.  I had to tie the string on the dowel , but L did most everything else.  The shoes also velcro on and off.  You can add different pairs of shoes too.
The shoes
Working on the Story Theater
I didn't know if L would like the story theater.  He doesn't really like to color.  L and C worked on the theater together.  L colored and had fun.  Kiwi Crate included several different scenes to color and decorate.  L went with a under the sea theme.
The Story Theater
L had so much fun when it was done.  He was so animated and told an awesome story about a submarine and an octopus.

Final Thought: Kiwi Crate delivered another great month.  Both C and I got quality time with L working on the project.  Kiwi Crate is truly an awesome company.  I really can't think of a negative thing to say about them.  Each month, they send great interactive crafts.  If you want to try Kiwi Crate, click HERE and get $10.00 off your first month.  You will pay only $9.95.

Holiday BroBox

BroBox sent me the Holiday box for review.  BroBox sends cool products from unique brands and sends it to guys each month.  BroBox is a great box for guys who don't want to get fancy lotions or creams.  This is a guy box and I rarely use/try anything from my husband's BroBox.  BroBox is $14.95 a month.
There are three subscription plans

Single BroBox $14.95 “So you kinda like your Bro but you want to take it slowly”

3 Month Plan “Wingman” $35.00 (Save $5.00) “Your Bro has been there for you through all the B.S. and you want to say thanks.”
6 Month Plan “Best Bro Forever” $72.00 (Save $17.00) “You seriously love your Bro because he’s awesome and makes you feel awesome.”
Packaging
BroBox is shipped the 15th of the month.  All the boxes come in envelopes like you see above.  All of BroBox‘s packaging is very masculine.  You won't any fancy tissue paper in this box.
BroBox
BroBox has a simple black box with a BroBox sticker.
First Look
The Fashion Anchor $5.99
This is disposable collar stays.  This help a guys collar stay put.
Rayovac 2 Hour Power Charger and Coupon $8.99
This is a really cool product.  You plug it into your phone and you have 2 hours of power.  C loves this, he is always running on low battery at the end of the day.  This could come in handy in an emergency.  There was also a coupon to save 20% on Rayovac.  I will use this to get a second charger and maybe some batteries for all those Christmas toys.
Grandma's Secret Spot Remover $6.25
I treat most of the stains in the house.  This is great stain remover, because you can put a spot on the stain and then wash.  No rubbing and extra treating.  C might start treating stains now!
Grandpa's Wonder Pine Tar Soap $1.39
This is a very manly smelling soap.  It is vegetable based and is said to help with eczema, psoriasis, and dandruff.  This cleans, moisturizes and deodorizes.
Multi Functional Tool
This is a BroBox exclusive item.  This has a can opener, knife edge, screwdriver, ruler, cap opener, 4 position wrench, butterfly screw wrench, saw blade, direction anxillary indication, 2 position wrench, and lanyard hole.  C received one of these in his first BroBox (see that review HERE).  This will be a cool gift for my dad.
Dude Wipes $1.30
These are to help guys stay “fresh” after going to the bathroom.  For extra fun, read the card in the picture.
The Whole Box
Final Thought: The total value was $23.92.  This is C's favorite BroBox to date.  The 2 hour charger is his favorite item.  If you are looking for a box for yourself or a guy in your life, check out BroBox.  You will get get only manly items and none of that froo froo stuff.  To sign up for Bro Box, click HERE.

New Subscription Box: The Fetch Box and Half Price Discount

The Fetch Box is a new “time of the month” subscription box for teens.  The Fetch Box contacted me for a review and I happily said yes.  The Fetch Box sends a combination of 20 tampons and/or pads and 5 liners.  You can also get the variety pack, which sends a variety of brands.  The box is made by a teen for teens.  The Fetch Box was started by a Senior in high school.  Her mother subscribed her to a “time of the month” box but didn't liked getting cheap hand-made jewelry or tea she would never drink.  She decided to start her own box and is using the funds to help pay for college!  I love you entrepreneurs.
The Details:
Cost: $13.00 plus $5.00 shipping ($10.00 shipping for Canada)
Coupon: Use the code First Box and get 50% off your first box, including shipping and put “Erin Hamm” in the comment box.
What's in the box? You choose the supplies you want.  Any combination of 20 tampons and/or pads, and 5 liners of your choice.  You can also get a variety bundle.  This included a variety of tampon/pad brands.  You also get some comfort food and a health or beauty item.
I was sent the Variety Pack to review
The Box
The box was shipping in a plain white box.  Teens don't want a box that screams “It's that time of the month!”

Packaging
Everything was wrapped in pretty hot pink tissue paper and secured with a sticker
Information List
The Fetch Box included a list of everything in the box.  There was so much stuff packed in this box.
First Look
Everything was packaged so neatly in little packages.
Pad, Tampons and Pantyliner.
This is the variety pack box.  This box included 15 tampons, 5 pads and 5 liners from a variety of brands.  I think this is a fantastic plan.  This gives teens the ability to try a variety of brands and types without having to go down the feminine product isle at the store.  I remember being a teen and I never wanted to be seen in “that” isle, much less, stand there reading different boxes.  Once you or your teen knows what brands/types you want, you can request that specific band/type with The Fetch Box.
Tampons
The Fetch Box sent 8 different bands/absorbency.  I was sent U Kotex regular, U Kotex super, Tampaz Radient regular, Tampax Pearl Compak Super, Playtex regular, Pearl Active regular, Tampax Pearl Lites, and Tampax Pearl Compak regular.
Pantyliner
Included were Carefree liners, Always liner, and U Kotex thin liners.
Samples: 2 Feminine Hygiene Wipes and a U by Kotex Thong Liner
The Fetch Box includes a product or two to sample each month.  That way, you or your teen can try product before purchasing.
Pads
The Fetch Box included an Always ultra thin slender, a U Kotex long pad, an Always ultra thin regular pad, and a Stayfree maxi regular pad.
The Snacks
All the snacks were wrapped in a cute package.  I was excited to see what was included!
Land O Lakes Cocoa Classics French Vanilla
This sounds very yummy.  It's is cold out now (at least here) and hot chocolate sounds great.  I actually hate tea, so I am excited that this box doesn't have tea.
Candy
I may not be a teen but I love candy.  A Reese's, Hershey's and a Twizzler was included
Pirate's Booty Aged White Cheddar Popcorn
If you read my blog, you know I love popcorn!  This was great tasting and a great addition to the box.
3 No Tug Boutique Hair Ties ($10.00 value)
I love these hair ties and the head bands just like them.  This are fun and perfect for teens.
The Whole Box

Final Thought: This is a fantastic box for teen and actually, I would subscribe to this box myself.  Teens need a box that is made by a teen herself.  Teens can have the freedom to try new brands/products without the fear of embarrassment.  The Fetch Box was packed with products, snacks and goodies that teens will love.  If you or your teen would like to try The Fetch Box, click HERE and use the code Free Box to save 50% on your first box.

Disclosure: I received the box free for review.  My opinions are my own and I was not compensated in any way.

November Project DIY Joan of Arc

Project DIY sent me the November box for review.  Each month Project DIY sends 2-3 original pieces inspired by the latest trends on the runways and fashion magazines.  You also received step by step instructions to complete the pieces, all for $30.00.  The November box is the Joan of Arc Collection.  I am a big admirer of Joan of Arc and love the looks during that time period.  Several designers have incorporated Joan of Arc themed pieces into their collections this fall.  Chain mail, mixed metals, brass pieces are all incorporated into this month's Project DIY Box.  This month, Project DIY designed pieces that helps you be tough, while feeling pretty.
The Box
All the materials needed to make the projects are included in the box.  You will need some tools, which you can purchase from Project DIY.  The Starter kit has the 3 tools you need.  It is $20.00, but I have a coupon code that will let you get it Free.  Read on to the end of the post to get the coupon.
Making the Projects
*Note: All the instructions for the projects are found online at http://guides.mjprojectdiy.com/c/Project_DIY or on their app.
Project 1: Warrior Cuff
I was really excited to make this bracelet.  I loved the hard metal combined with a romantic look.  This is totally my style.
Warrior Packet
The packet includes all the materials needed to make the bracelet.  The packet unfolds to reveal more information about the project.  Project DIY tells you the components included, tools needed, skills you will learn, difficult, and time required.  The warrior cuff was a moderate difficulty and took an estimated 25 minutes to complete.
Project DIY Shield Necklace
I love this necklace.  It goes with the bracelet very nicely and is a very beautiful piece.
All the pieces.
This project took 25 minutes to complete and was a moderate difficultly.
The Box
Project DIY always uses large beautiful pictures in their boxes.  You can go on their website, and they will also list what you can pair you jewelry with.
Shield Necklace
It couldn't take any pictures during the process, since I had to glue all the pieces on the center piece.  This was petty easy to do.  The gluing was the most difficult part.
Warrior Cuff
Wow, I love this piece.  This turned out great and it was not nearly as difficult as it looks.
Finished Set
Final Thought:  I love Project DIY.  This set was fabulous.  Project DIY really captured Joan of Arc in these pieces.  I wore these pieces out as soon as the glue dried, and I received several complements. The box is well worth the $30.00.  I would pay $30.00 easily for these pieces in a store.  Everyone is always surprised when I tell people where my Project DIY pieces come from.  If you are interested in signing up, click HERE and use the code MJDIY8 to save 40%.  That makes your starter kit free!
