First Look
The “Challenge Accepted” is filled with ideas on how to configure the track, games to play and more.
There were different ways to configure the track.
There was also information about how to take your track to the net level by using objects around your house.
There are also fun games and articles in the book too.
T-Shirt Every box comes with a t-shirt. This month's is really fun with the bright colors and graphic print. The car on the front of this t-shirt is one of the cars in this month's box.
There were three individual cars in the box.
Batmobile This is an official DC Hot Wheels car. I love Batman car and this one has a modern look to it. This is from the Batman vs Superman Dawn of Justice.
Nightburnerz '17 Nissan GT-R (R35) This car was a new release for 2017 and is designed in real life for night driving. I love the silver look to this car and it did end up going pretty fast on the track.
HW Glow Wheels This is a brand new car for 2018 and the wheels really do glow. This is also designed as best for track. My kids love Hot Wheels and this is the first car from 2018 that I have seen.
Track Builder System 3 Ft of track Like last month, there was a package of extra track.
The package came with four pieces for track and four connector pieces.
Hot Wheels Track Builder Syster Turn Kicker $11.99 The main track in this month's box is the turn kicker. You push a car into the kicker and it shoots out the other side.
This is the set put together and it comes with a car too.
I don't know what this is called, but it's a clamp that you can attach track pieces to. This is a very versatile piece that you can use in many different ways.
The first setup was using just the pieces in the box. We used the box as a tunnel for the cars.
Then we pulled out the track pieces from the first box (Dec Review) and added them to this month's kit. The launch on te Dec kit was a bit too strong for the track we had, so cars would fly off.
My kids modified the sets and came up with the perfect setup. The clamp was clamped at the top of the box and it helped propell the call through the launch and into the other side. The other set was set up to shoot the cars through the bottom of the box. This was really fun, because both of my kids to play together and separately at the same time.
