Appleseed Lane is a new subscription box company for children 4-10. Appleseed Lane graciously gave me a box to review. Appleseed Lane's boxes are filled with 3-5 Science and Math projects. The subscription is $23.00 a month and the box is packed with activities. When the box arrived, I was really excited to do it with L (age 4). L loves Science and I knew he would have a blast doing it.
The Details:

This month's theme “Crime Scene Science”
The Box
The box is so cute with the tree and apple. I couldn't wait to see what was inside.
Information Card
There were four projects: Invisible Ink, Muddy Tracks, Hidden Colors and Sticky Fingers.
Project Instructions
All the project instructs were written with colorful illustrations on the back. The directions were very easy to follow.
Badge and Chart
Every month, you child get a new badge to add to their chart. L was so excited to put his badge on his chart. It is proudly hanging on the refrigerator.
Mustache
You can't be a private detective without a mustache. L's daddy has a mustache, so L was excited to wear this. The purpose behind this box, was to find out who of Professor Caterpillar's family members, took the last cookie from the cookie jar. Each experiment and activity, brought you (your child) closer to the answer.
Invisible Ink
Invisible Ink in Action
L loved the the light that made the message appear. It was the first clue.
Narrowing it Down
L loved narrowing down the suspects.
Muddy Tracks
Plaster
Muddy Tracks Activity
This was the hardest of the activities. L helped combine all the ingredients to make the red dough. L was very curious about what we were making. Once the dough cooled, L put his hand int he dough. We made the plaster and poured it in. It had to sit for at least 30 mins, but we left it over night.
Finished Hand
L's hand turned out great and then L colored it. L is not a huge fan of coloring, so he went with the minimalist approach.
Hidden Colors
Hidden Colors Activity
This activity taught L about chromatography. Chromatography is the scientific way of separating mixtures to see what they are made of.
The Colors
L had to determine which person didn't match. This was a great practice with L and his letters
Sticky Fingers Kit
Narrowing it Down
This was L's favorite activity. L made copies of his finger prints and put them on the card. Then he used the magnifying class to look at them closer. He also used the magnifying glass, to find who stole the cookie!

This jerky is made by Firefighters. The beef is hand sliced and slow cooked. C loved the mild beef stick. He doesn't like hot or spicy foods, so the hot will be given to a friend.
These are lozenges that are a drug free way to ease an upset stomach, dry mouth, and will replenish vitamins B and C. They come in Ginger, Raspberry and Lime. C hasn't had these yet, but they will be nice to have on hand.
This is an all natural energy shot. It is filled with green tea, coconut water, protein, honey, and high antioxidant fruits. There are also no chemicals. C tried the grape flavor. He said it had a great smell, but was a bit bitter for his tastes.
S'Up Bro Drawstring Bag
This is a great bag that would be great for your workout gear.

The Box
The makeup subscription comes in a small white box with the Wantable “W” on it. It fit in my mailbox, so I was surprised to see it when I checked my mail. Most of my boxes are delivered on my doorstep. It is a really cute little box.
When I first saw this, I thought, wow that is bright. I tried it and I love it. It doesn't look that bright on. It also has a flat applicator that lets you put the gloss on easier. There is even a light inside the cap and a mirror on the side. You can put on gloss in a dark car, without blinding your husband with the vanity mirror. I really love lip gloss, so this product is perfect for me.
This is a nice pink glitter nail polish. Rainbow Honey also included tips to remove the glitter polish. You soak a cotton ball in nail polish remover, put it on your nail and wrap your finger in foil.
This is a great shade of purple. It is something I would buy, so I am thrilled to receive it. I also love that it has a mirror.
Skiin Instant Skin Tightener and Line Filler Sample
This promises to tighten and life sagging skin and wrinkles in a matter of minutes. I am in my 30's and don't think I need this. I will give this to my mom, I think she would enjoy it.
The Box
Final Thought: I really loved this box and in fact, this is my new favorite beauty box. All the products were products on my love list: eye shadow, lip gloss and nail polish. I really like how Wantable took into my loves, likes and dislikes into account. The box really felt personalized to me. The total value of this box was $62.00. I am signing up for a subscription for Wantable. If you would like to try Wantable, click HERE.
