New Subscription Box: Grand Box

I am so excited to see this box.  Grand Box was founded by Andy Papier and Joe Yoeman.  It is a box for your older family members or loved ones.  They have a sign up section right now.  Their website has pictures of their family members.  I love that!  It looks like they will personalize each box for your loved one.  My husband C has a very special 93 year old grandmother.  This sounds like something I will give her.

What is Grandbox? “It is a smile. It is a little bit of love in a box. It is a way to connect families.”
What is in the box? From the website: Every month we select great gifts, healthy products, and things to make your loved ones happy. We will also include pictures and letters in each box. When you register, we will find out more about your loved one, and you can send us new photos and letters any time.”
Availability: This box will be released this fall

This sounds like a company that is going to put alot of LOVE in their boxes.  What do you think?

Woolzies Review

I had the opportunity to review Woolzies Dryer Balls.  I normally just post about subscription boxes, but I thought my readers might be interested in this product.  Woolzies is an natural fabric softener.  It is made from 100% Pure New Zealand Wool.

I usually use a name brand dryer sheet.  I am trying to become more eco friendly and was excited to try this product.  Each box comes with 6 xl balls.  They sell for $34.95 but last for 1,000 loads of laundry.  Woolzies also create more space in the dryer between clothes, thereby helping your clothes dry 25-30% faster.  I live in a humid climate and I often have to run the dryer an extra time when I do towels.  I tested out the Woolzies with some towels.  I was surprised when I didn't need to use an extra cycle and my towels smelled clean.

Some Facts from Woolzies.com:
1.  Most commercial dryer sheets and liquids contain chemicals that destroy the fire retardant qualities in children's and adult's clothing.  This scared me!  I would never want to put my desire for fragrant clothing in place of my children's safety!  Dryer sheets/liquids can also can reduce the absorbency in towels.

2.  You can reduce static cling by making a ball the size of a Woolzie out of aluminum foil, and throwing it in the dryer with the other 5.Woolzies

3. To make your clothes smell good, wait till your clothes are completly dried and add pure essential oil to two of the Woolzies.  Put the 2  back in the dryer and air fluff for 10 mins.  You don't want hot heat, as the hot air will destroy the essential oils.

4.  Woolzies are safe for people with wool allergies, as the ball will not shed. If you have a wool allergy, I would do a small test first to make sure there is no reaction.

5.  Plastic dryer balls can cause harsh chemicals like PVC to be emitted into the clothing.  Plastic dryer balls can also damage your dryer.

Woolzies

Thank you Woolzies for letting me review your product.  I will continue to use your product.

Wine Wear Product Review

This is how they come packaged
I had the opportunity to review Wine Wear.  Wine Wear is a decorative gift card that you put on your wine bottle.  They have many different styles and are available for all kinds of occasions.
From Wine Wear ” You wouldn't show up to your friend's house wearing a paper bag, even if they were a really, really good friend.  So why would you submit your favorite vintage to the same indignity?  Wine Wear ensures your bottle never arrives under dressed.  “

To use, simply remove it from the package, fill out the back and slip it on the bottom.  They retail for $3.49.  This is not much more than a paper bag and much cuter.

Directions
Front
Back

This is one of their holiday designs.  This would be perfect for a Christmas Party!
They also have decals in many designs and colors that can go on a wine glass.  They sell for $3.49
There is also wine fashion wear.  I think this snowman is adorable.  They sell for $9.95

The bride and groom is perfect for the cake table
Final Thought: Wine Wear lets you give a personalized greeting worthy of the recipient.  You no longer have to worry about your card falling to the bottom of the bag, or wrinkled disheveled gift wrap.  Wine Wear is attractive and looks great sitting out at a party.  Check out Wine Wear for your next gift giving opportunity.
