Fabletics Review February 2014 and 50% Discount Code- Athletic Clothing

Fabletics This post contains referral links

Fabletics is a workout/fitness clothing company that sells outfits at a discounted price.  I started running last year, and I now appreciate the importance of proper clothing.  I am a frugal person and started buying work out clothing as cheap as possible.  Now, I try to find a balance between cost and function.  I have wasted money on clothing that doesn't hold up.  I have been looking at Fabletics for awhile, and I have been interested in trying them out.  Fabletics was co-founded by Kate Hudson.  Fabletics delivers high-performance athletic wear at an affordable price. Fabletics apparel focuses on fit, function and style, offering complete, coordinated Outfits for your workout and beyond.

You can sign up for an account for free and then order when you are ready.  When you sign up, you fill out a fitness profile, so Fabletics can better select outfits for you. Continue Reading …

Stridebox Review

I am a runner and I always enjoy getting my StrideBox.  StrideBox keeps me accountable to running.  I did my first 5K this past summer and I am going to do a 5 mile race this November.  I have my first mini this spring!  I like finding new running products.  I have found stuff I love, and stuff I don't .  StrideBox is only $15.00 a month, so it is nice to try various products, without spending lots of money.

The Box
StrideBox comes in this little box.  It fits in my mailbox!
First Look
I like the pink details for Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Information Card
StrideBox always includes a detailed list of all the items in the box.
Nature's Bakery All Natural Fruit Bar (Retail Value: $ 1.25)
I already know I like Nature's Bakery Fig Bars.  They taste like a gourmet Fig Newton.  They are made with 100% natural ingredients.  I have received these in another subscription box and enjoyed them.  This would be good before a race.
That's it All Natural Fruit Bar $1.67
I also received this in another subscription box.  These are really good and have a nice flavor.  This bar has two ingredients: apples and cherries.
Chocolate #9 Low Glycemic Index Energy Gel $1.25
This is the only low glycemic index energy gel on the market.  This only has two ingredients.  I have never had chocolate energy gels, so I am anxious to try it.
StrideBox Mesh Gear Bag $8.99
This is StideBox exclusive.  This is a great wet bag for all your running gear.  I often run in the park, so I will use this to hold all my gear.
Perform Pain Relieving Gel Sample
This gives you a cooling sensation where ever you apply it.  This is a topical pain reliever.
“Run for a Reason” Breast Cancer Awareness sticker
This is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so I am glad StideBox included these.
RockTape Endurance Tape for Athletes Sample
This helps athletes improve form and decrease fatigue through better blood flow.  I am going to save this for my mini training.
Honey Stinger Organic Stinger Waffle $1.39
Honey Stinger is popular among runners.  Again, I haven't tried chocolate running products, but I will give this a try.  This is certified organic and is a healthy snack or can be used during training.
Fluid Performance Natural Sports Drink $1.27
This has bio-available electrolytes and is promised to have a great taste.  It is raspberry lemon-aid flavor, so it sounds delicious.
The Whole Box.
Final Thought: The total value for this box was $15.82, not including samples.  I like finding new running products to try.  I like that the box was worth more than I paid.  I love the running bag and like that I will have a designated bag for my running stuff.  If you want to try StrideBox, go to www.stridebox.com.

StrideBox Review: September

I have fallen off the running band wagon lately.  I have decided to do a 5 mile run in Nov, to keep my motivation.  I really love running outside, but have been using a treadmill in the 90 degree heat.  I am looking forward to the cool fall weather!  I got my Stridebox shipping notice and it reminded me keep running.   Stridebox is a running subscription box filled with gear, accessories, and nutritional products every month for $15.00.

Stride Box: June Review

I am a new runner.  I started running May 1st to train for my first half marathon.  I am up to 3-4 miles and I thought I should try a running box.  I am pretty unfamiliar with running gear and products.  Stridebox sends out a box of acessories, gear and nutritional products every month for $15.00.  They do not have a referral program or any promo codes that I could find.
Here is my box

This is how the box came

My You Tube Reviewhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JICxJLVIyrc

Final Thought: This is one of my favorite boxes.  I love that it is only $15.00.  It is very affordable and it gives me exposure of many different brands and products.  I am not a fan of samples and “trying” new things, but I love it for this box.  Many running items are very pricey, and this give me a taste of things, including full size gear products at an affordable price.  The total value on my box was $27.27!
