This is a Japanese green tea made by roasting sencha leaves for a low-caffeine tea. This has notes of sweet melon and a toasty depth.

This pastry is made with Nagano prefecture apple jam. It has sweet, tender fruit with a flaky crust. The dough has a long fermentation process using natural Panettone yeast.

I love all the flavors of senbei, so I was excited to get this in my box. These rice and barley crackers are brushed with a light soy sauce glaze and finished with a touch of honey and powdered miso. These have a sweet and savory flavor.

This is another apple treat. Shinshu apples are made in this cookie and are grown in Nagano. The apples are made into a cream and sandwiched between two cinnamon-scented biscuits.
