This is a look at the February box.
Stickers
Every box contains a sheet of stickers to put on top of the essential oils and products you make in each recipe.
The tiny round stickers are placed on top of the essential oils, so they are easy to spot in your box.
Recipe Cards
The essential oil box comes with six different recipes.
February Recipes: Glitter & Gold Shower Steamer, Heart of Gold, Love Birds Diffuser Blend, Sunshine Scrub Bar, First Date Roll-On, and True Love Room Spray.
Essential Oils
The box contains a list of all the essential oils. The card states whether the essential oil is pregnancy-safe, kid-safe, dog-safe, or cat-safe.
Love Essential Oil
Love centers and uplifts. It’s safe during pregnancy and for children 10 and up, but it’s not safe around dogs or cats.
Citrus Burst Essential Oil
Citrus Burst cleans, energizes, and uplifts. It’s safe during pregnancy and for children 10 and up and dogs, but it’s unsafe around cats.
Copaiba Essential Oil
Copaiba reduces the appearance of breakouts. It’s safe during pregnancy and for children 2 and up. It’s safe for use around dogs and cats as well.
Sage Essential Oil
It’s safe during pregnancy and for children 10 and up. It’s not safe around dogs or cats.
Extras
Simply Earth included a heart-shaped soap mold and yellow gold mica powder. I also received the glycerin melt and pour soap base.
Recipes
First Date Roll On
I made the First Date roll-on is made with Love, Citrus Burst, and Copaiba.
You put equal drops of each essential oil and fill the roll on bottle with fractionated coconut oil.
I applied the stickers and now the essential oil is to be used.
Sunshine Scrub Bar
I made a scrub bar that is a mix of soap and a sugar scrub. I was going to use the soap mold from one of my first boxes, but I couldn’t find it. I ended up using some silicone cupcake liners as the molds. The gold mica powder makes the bar look very sparkly!
You start with two pieces of the soap base.
Once melted, you add the sugar and the mica powder.
Once everything is mixed up, I poured it into my mold.
I got a ziploc bag to store the bar and added the sticker to the outside.
Heart of Gold
This has two molds in one! I made a soap base with some mica powder in the small silicone heart mold. Once that hardened, I made a clear soap with the Love and Citrus Burst essential oils and poured that over the heart soap.
The small glitter heart is so cute!
Once the small glitter heart has hardened, you pour the clear soap on top of it.
The finished soap was a small glitter heart in a clear soap.
Final Thought: I loved this month’s box making different kinds of soap. The heart mold is perfect for Valentine’s Day. I can’t wait to make the rest of the recipes, but I loved the ones I already made—the soap from the Heart of Gold recipe the most.
