Balsam Fir is great for supporting respiration, deodorizes and uplifts. It's safe for kids two and up, pregnancy, dogs, and cats.
Mandarin(Green)
Mandarin promotes rejuvenation and centers. It's safe for kids two and up, pregnancy, dogs, but not cats.
Extras
This month, the recipes include a bath salt soak, rose red mica powder and a cosmetic tin.
Recipes
Espresso Yourself Roll-On
This recipe combines coffee, Balsam Fir, and Mandarin essential oils. You mix the recommended essential oils together, along with some fractionated coconut oil. The amber glass roll-on bottle is from the bonus box.
Holly Jolly Lip Balm
This recipe uses Mandarin essential oil, rose red mica powder, and the cosmetic tin. You also need the solid coconut oil, almond oil, and beeswax from the bonus box. The only thing you need from home is a 2oz jar. You melt the solid coconut oil, almond oil, and beeswax together. Once melted, add the essential oils and the mica powder. Carefully pour it into the tin and let it cool. This is a lovely lip balm.
Jingle Java Sugar Scrub
This scrub is made with the essential oils coffee, Belsam Fir, and Mandarin. You will also need solid coconut oil, fractionated coconut oil, and rose-red mica powder. You will only need sugar and a 2-oz jar from home.
The first steps are to melt the solid and fractionated coconut oils and then add the essential oils.
Once mixed, add the sugar and rose red mica powder.
I didn't have a 2-oz jar, so I put them in two 1-oz jars.
Final Thought: The October box contained several recipes, and I love the sugar scrub recipe. The lip balm is one of our favorite items from this box. Subscribe and use the code BOXMOMFREE to get a $45 gift card with your first subscription
