Vellabox subscription box featuring hand-poured candles.
There are three subscriptions: the Lucerna, the Ignis, and the Vivere. The Lucerna is $12.00/month and comes with one 4oz candle per month (25-hour burn time), plus one surprise gift. The Ignis is $22.00 and comes with one 4oz candle per month (50-hour burn time) plus one surprise gift. The Vivere is $29.00/month and comes with one 16oz (100-hour burn time) plus one surprise gift. Vellabox ships in a small brown box inside a slightly bigger box, protecting the candle from breaking.
First Look
You will see a photo with an inspirational quote when you open the box. For July, it says, “Wildspirit, soft heart, sweet soul.”
The two-sided information card contains information about the companies and items in the box.
Featured Candle Artisan – Aria Bella
Aria Bella is based in Pittsburgh, PA. The founders formed the company to make candles free from toxic ingredients. The name “Aria Bella” is Italian and means “beautiful air.” All the candles are made with 100% American-made soy wax, cotton wicks, and clean-certified fragrance oils.
I received the candle “Linen & Eucalyptus,” which has notes of ozone, linen, eucalyptus, sea salt, freesia, moss, and powder. This candle smells like fresh laundry, and it's my current favorite candle.
Matchbook Patterned Tote $12
This canvas bag is the bonus item in the box. This would be a nice bag to take your keys and small accessories to the gym. The bag has various Vellabox matchbooks.
