Bonus Box

First Look
Essential Oils
The box contains a list of all the essential oils. The card states whether the essential oil is pregnancy-safe, kid-safe, dog-safe, or cat-safe.
Ylang Ylang
Ylang-Ylang soothes the scalp and thickens hair and centers. It's safe for kids ten and up and pregnancy, but it is not safe for cats or dogs.
Happy Joy
Happy Joy uplifts, energizes, and calms. It's safe for kids ten and up and pregnancy, but it is not safe for cats or dogs.
Cedarwood
Cedarwood lengthens hair, cleanses skin, and centers and soothes skin. It's safe for kids two, and up pregnancy, cats and dogs.
Head Soothing
Head Soothing soothes head discomfort and soothes skin. It's safe for kids two, and up pregnancy, and dogs, but not cats.
Stickers
Every box contains a sheet of stickers to put on top of the essential oils and the products you make in each recipe.
Extra Items
Simply Earth included an amber spray bottle, Argan Oil, and a homemade paperboard tube for some of the recipes in the box.
Recipes
This month, the recipes include a hair wax, dry shampoo, hair oil, hair soothing roll-on, hair mask, and a diffuser blend.
Happy Hair Wax
This recipe makes a hair wax that adds shine to dry hair and smoothes flyaway hair.
You melt the beeswax and the solid coconut oil together; let the mixture cool before pouring it into the cardboard tube. If it's too hot, it will leak out the bottom. I didn't let it cool quite enough, but luckily, the mess was minimal.
The essential oil Ylang Ylang into the mixture and let it cool.
The finished product smells fantastic and made my hair look shiny.
Protect & Shine Hair Oil
You can massage this hair oil into your scalp to promote circulation and scalp health. This recipe uses ylang-ylang, head-soothing essential oils, almond oil, and argan oil. You can also use your spray bottle.
Adding all the ingredients was easy! This took just a few minutes to make.
Make sure you apply the label to the bottle.
