Vellabox subscription box featuring hand-poured candles.
There are three subscriptions: the Lucerna, the Ignis, and the Vivere. The Lucerna is $12.00/month and comes with one 4oz candle per month (25-hour burn time), plus one surprise gift. The Ignis is $22.00 and comes with one 4oz candle per month (50-hour burn time) plus one surprise gift. The Vivere is $29.00/month and comes with one 16oz (100-hour burn time) plus one surprise gift. I received the Vivere March 2024 box.
Vellabox ships in a small brown box inside a slightly bigger box, protecting the candle from breaking.
When you open the box, you will see a photo with an inspirational quote. For March, it says, “Disconnect to connect.” Every candle comes with a durable canvas bag, ensuring its safety while offering the added convenience of reusable storage or gift-holding purposes.
The two-sided information card contains information about the companies and items in the box.
Featured Candle Artisan – Borough Home
Borough Home is based in Portland, OR. Laura Lutz founded the company in 2021, using her memories of her home in Hawaii as inspiration for her candles. The candles are small-batch, hand-poured candles, perfume, and body care.
I received the candle “Trail.” It’s a woodsy scent with notes of oakmoss and damp soil. Although the scent notes don’t sound appealing, it actually smells great. It’s an earthy scent with a sweet smell.
“Lucky” Air Fresheners – Set of 2
There are two air fresheners in the box, and they have notes of cool water, ozone, and flower petals.
