Simply Earth October 2023 Essential Oil Subscription Review + Coupons

Simply Earth is an essential oil subscription box.
Boxes are $29.00/month and come with four 100% essential oils plus all the extra items to make six recipes.
When you subscribe, your first box includes your regular monthly box and a bonus box! If you stay a subscriber, you will get another bonus box in another six months.
There is a 2 oz package of Beeswax, 12 fl oz of coconut oil, almond oil, fractionated coconut oil, six empty bottles for essential oil mixes, and six roller bottles of essential oils. You will get a new bonus box every six months.

The recipe box comes in a small brown box with the branding on top.
First Look
Essential Oils
There is a list of all the essential oils in the box. The card states if the essential oil is pregnancy-safe, safe for kids, dog-safe, or cat-safe.
Frankincense
Frankincense centers, aids digestion, boosts immunity, and supports joint function. It’s safe for kids two and up, pregnancy-safe, dog and cat-safe.
Cypress
Cypress soothes muscles, boosts immunity, and supports joint function. It’s safe for kids ten and up, but not pregnancy-safe, dog or cat-safe.
Breathe Easy
Breathe Easy aids digestion supports respiration, and supports joint function. It’s safe for kids ten and up, but not pregnancy-safe, dog or cat-safe.
Ravensara
Ravensara boosts immunity, supports respiration, and supports joint function. It’s safe for kids ten and up, pregnancy safe, dog and cat safe.
Recipes
There are six different recipes in the box. The bonus box gives you almost everything you need to complete each one. I had to get some baking soda, rice, and distilled water.
Aromatherapy Rice Bag
This bag comes with a white inner liner to make a hot/cold DIY rice bag.
Menthol Crystals
It’s approaching the cooler months, so respiratory problems will start getting more prevalent. These crystals are part of a respiratory recipe in the box.
Black Fine Mist Trigger Sprayer & Amber Plastic Bottle
Simply Earth included this bottle to make “Stinky Feet Spray” for all those smelly shoes. The bottle is PET plastic amber.
Respiration Aid Roll-On
This roll-on product uses three of the essential oils in the box, the roll-on bottle, and fractionated coconut oil from the bonus box.
You add the right amount of essential oils and fill the rest of the bottle with fractionated coconut oil. This produces a great smell and it really opens up your sinuses. To use, just apply it to your chest. My husband has already used this!
Stinky Feet Spray
Smelly shoes, no more. This spray is made with all the essential oils in the box, the menthol crystals, the bottle, plus the fractionated coconut oil from the bonus box. You could also add Geogard ECT Preservative, but I did not buy that for this recipe.
The first step is to heat the menthol crystals and fractionated coconut oil until the crystals melt. Once melted, add the other essential oils and stir. Once the menthol and essential oils are combined, it can be very fragrant. You apply everything to the bottle, then fill the rest with distilled water.
I applied the sticker, and now the pile of shoes in my house smell so much better!
Calming Aromatherapy Rice Bag
This rice bag was the first one I completed! You need the aromatherapy pillow and cypress essential oil from your box. You need 5 cotton balls from home and 2.5 cups of rice.
You fill the bag 3/4 the way full with the rice. Once filled, heat it up for one minute, then 30 second increments until warm.
To make it “aromatherapy,” apply the essential oils to the cotton balls and add them to the bag.
Be sure to remove the cotton balls when you heat the rice bag again. Later, you can change the scent of the essential oil you use. I am going to try lavender next.
Once you have everything in the pouch, you can slip it into the decorative pouch.
