First Look
Essential Oils
There is a list of all the essential oils in the box. The card states if the essential oil is pregnancy-safe, safe for kids, dog-safe, or cat-safe.
Autumn Air
Autumn Air is excellent for a seasonal aroma and is used for cleaning. The essential oil is made of orange, lemon, Balsam Fir, Ho Wood, and cassia essential oil. It's safe for kids ten and up but not for pregnancy, dogs, or cats.
Ho Wood
Ho Wood calms, cools, supports immunity, soothes, and stimulates. The essential oil is made camphora and Cinnamomum. It's safe for kids two and up, dog-safe, cat-safe, and pregnancy-safe.
Pine
Pine warms, calms, soothes, and supports circulation. The essential oil is made of Pinus and Sylvestris. It's safe for kids two and up, pregnancy safe, but not dog or cat safe.
Bergamot
Bergamot calms, refreshes, and soothes, and it can be used for skin care. The essential oil is made of Citrus and Bergamia. It's safe for kids two and up, pregnancy-safe, dog and cat-safe.
Recipes
There are six different recipes in the box. The bonus box gives you almost everything you need to complete each one. I had to get some containers for the recipes, cornstarch, and distilled water.
The first three recipes are Bergamot Kiss Lip Balm, Lumberjack Body Wash, and Autumn Splendor Diffuser Blend. I haven't completed these recipes yet but am excited to try them.
The other three recipes are Enchanted Forest Solid Lotion Bar, Falling Leaves Roll-On, and Fall Orchard Body Wash.
Fall Orchard Body Wash
This recipe used two essential oils: the body wash powder from the box and almond oil from the bonus box. I had to grab the distilled water and a bottle from my house. I used an 8oz bottle, so the finished product looks half full.
The first step was to add the distilled water.
Next, I added the body wash powder, shook it, and had to wait 6 hours.
Once the 6 hours was over, I added the essential oils and shook it up. This body wash smells great, and I can use the ingredients to make more.
Enchanted Forest Solid Lotion Bar
This recipe used all four essential oils: the shea butter, the Beeswax, the deodorant tube, and the almond oil from the bonus box. The recipe called for cornstarch, but I used all-purpose flour.
The first step was to melt the almond oil, shea butter, and Beeswax. Once it's all melted, you add the essential oils. Finally, you stir in the cornstarch, or in my case, the flour, which helps the mixture solidify.
The product solidified and is a great feeling balm.
Falling Leaves Roll-On
The essential oil roll on used Bergamot, Ho Wood, and Pine essential oils. You also need the roll-on bottle and the fractionated coconut oil.
The bonus box comes with empty roll-on bottles to make all the blends in the box each month. The blend mixed one part bergamot, two parts Ho Wood and three parts Pine essential oils. The rest of the bottle was filled with fractionated coconut oil.
When the bottle is complete, be sure to add the sticker.
