The theme for Fall is “Day Adventure” The information card has descriptions for everything in the box, along with tips and a challenge.
Deuter Women's SL Hiking Backpack $150
This backpack is easy to carry, and it can hold a 3-liter water pouch (not included). This backpack has a metal frame to keep your pack in shape. You can get to your items from the top or use the front zipper pocket to easily get items in the bottom of your pack. There is a storage pocket in the top flap of the backpack for quick access to your most used items.
This front pocket lets you access the bottom of the backpack without digging through the entire bag.
There is a long pocket on one side and a pocket on the other side that can hold a water bottle. There are also loops on the front of the pack to easily hold your hiking poles.

ALPS Waterproof Banket $50
This blanket has an incredibly soft and water-resistant fleece on top to keep you warm. The nylon bottom has a waterproof lining inside will keep you dry. The blanket weighs 2lbs, 3ozs and measures 80″ L x 58″ W. My son will be using this one on some backpacking trips this winter.
Fozzils Snapfold Bowls $9.95
These bowls are one of my favorite items in the box. While flat, the bowls can be used as a cutting board for your meal, though make sure you don't cut across the fold lines. Then the bowls can be snapped together to make a bowl. These are perfect for backpacking because they take up very little room when flat but can be used for your meal.
When backpacking, all weight matters. These bowls are lightweight, packable, foldable bowls with a non-stick, easy-to-clean surface and convenient measuring lines. The company makes cups and larger bowls too, so I am going to pick those up for my son as well.
Survivor Filter Collapsible Water Bottle $8.48
This bottle bottle can be folded up or rolled for storage. It can clip right into your backpack when you are carrying water. The bottle material is 100% non-toxic and BPA-free.
Alpine Start Instant Coffee $9.99
This box contains eight servings of this medium-roast coffee. The packets dissolve instantly in hot or cold water. If you love a cup of coffee in the morning, these packets are a great choice. My son uses many of the items in our Nomadik boxes, but this item we will pass on to a friend.
Final Thought: My fall 2023 Nomadik box had a total value of $228.46. This is an outstanding box, and my son loves the backpack and waterproof pad.
