BARK Food is the perfect combination of kibble, supplements, and add-ons for your breed, delivered to your door.
A Ph.D. companion animal nutritionist formulates every recipe. The nutritionist focuses on protein quality, fiber (prebiotic) selection, digestibility, and everything your dog needs to thrive. All recipes use US-sourced meat as their first ingredient, and every recipe is free from corn, wheat, or soy Recipes are also free from artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. Recipes are created to ensure the right amount of prebiotic fibers and live probiotic bacteria for a healthy belly and that the body can absorb the beneficial nutrients.
Instead of just selecting a dog food based on the size of your dog, BARK Food created different recipes based on your dog's bread, focusing on their physical and behavioral characteristics. For example, labrador retrievers tend to skip the chewing part of eating dinner, which is why we have a slow feeder bowl for them! Pitties tend towards sensitive skin, so we’ve recommended a skin and coat supplement to help with that. Our breed-focused recommendations will help your dog be their best, happiest, and healthiest dog. Mixed breeds can also select foods based on their dog's specific conditions or nee s. They also have 100% happiness guarantee.
BARK Food has food, supplements, and more for Labradors, Chihuahuas, and Pit bulls. Once you subscribe, you will lock in your price, and it will never increase.

Labrador
Cock-a-Doodle-Chew. Farm-raised Chicken & Rice
BARK Food's nutritious Labrador food, Cock – A – Doodle – Chew is formulated to keep your dog healthy so they don't suffer from hip dysplasia and other poor health issues. I love that when I look at the ingredients, I can understand them! The first ingredients are Chicken, Chicken Meal, Brown Rice, White Rice, Oatmeal, Pearled Barley, Alaska Pollock Meal, and Chicken Fat.
The back of the bag gives you more information about the food. This healthy blend of ingredients will help promote healthy digestion, maintain a strong immune system, and give your dog the nutrients for a healthy heart and fuel for the day. The bag gives directions on how much to feed your pet, so you don't overfeed them.
Slow Feeder Bowl
Labradors are known for being fast eaters, and this feeder bowl helps slow them down. A dog eating too fast can cause gassiness, indigestion, weight gain, or an upset stomach.
My box contained two more nutritious supplements/treats for my dog.
Hip, Hop Hooray Hip & Joint Soft Chews
Your pup will be your forever sidekick when you carry these treats around. They contain omega-3 fatty acids, collagen peptides, and natural sources of glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate, which work together to keep your dog having joint & cartilage health. The chews are bacon flavored, so your dog will want to eat these.
BARK Bada Bing! Bada Beef Liver Sprinkles
Just like you would season your food, your dog can have some seasoning for its food. Made with 100% Beef Liver, this seasoning gives your dog's food a kick, plus it has 60% crude protein.
Envelope
There is an envelope in the box, complete with stickers and a transition guide.
When you transition your dog to BARK Food, it's important to go slowly.
- Day 1-2: 25% BARK/ 75% Old Food
- Day 3-4: 50% BARK/ 50% Old Food

The card welcomes you to the BARK Food Labrador family. Lucas and Shiloh will be there to answer any questions you have. You can text or email them.
The back of the card has some Labrador affirmations, including “I am superior to cats” and “as I chew and bark, I will be led.”
What Does Cotan Think?
Upon opening the bag, Cotan was interested in checking out the food. The bag is resealable, too, so you can keep your dog's food fresh.
The slow feeder bowl keeps food separated in the grooves, so your dog will eat slower. By eating slower, your dog will also not pass as much gas. I love my dog, but dog gas is a big no! The bowl is made of recyclable PP resin. is nonslip, plus you can put it in the dishwasher.
Final Thought: BARK Food is a fantastic company I can trust with my pet's health. Cotan loves his new food and his Bada Bing! Bada Beef food topper. The slow eater bowl helps Cotan eat slower, which improves his health. Subscribe and let your dog join the BARK Food family. Use the code SBMOM30 to save 30% on your first BARK Food order.
