Chicken Ana Louisa is chicken stuffed with artichoke, pieces of ham, gourmet cheese, and a rich cheese sauce. Each serving is 450 calories, a,nd you don't even have to thaw the chicken to cook it. Just preheat the oven to 375 degrees and bake for 35 minutes. Everyone loved this chicken, and nothing was left after dinner.

My oldest child loves mac and cheese, so this was one of the first sides I made. It's best to make it after it has thawed, so I put it in my refrigerator overnight. A quick 15-20 mins in the oven, and it's ready. The mac and cheese were cheesy and much better than the box stuff. A serving size is one container, b,ut we split two containers between the four of us and had some leftover for the next day.

Pesto and Cheese Flatbread

2 Servings – $13.49, 4 Servings – $26.99

I have not really been a pesto fan, but these flat bread pizzas were fantastic. They have a cheesy garlic bread taste. My picky youngest child didn't want to eat a “green” pizza, but once he tried it, he loved it. The portion is large and plenty big enough for a lunch or dinner.

French Bread

This bread comes ready to eat, sort of. Just let the bread thaw, and it's ready to be served! I tried this thawed as recommended, and it tasted great. I ended up toasting it for a few minutes, and that made it even better.

This pie has flaky pastry, big chunks of white and dark meat with vegetables, all in a delicious gravy. One pot pie has six servings, plenty for a family. Unlike many of the other dishes, you don't needed to thaw this before baking.

Corn Bread Blueberry Toaster Cakes

2 Servings – $8.99, 4 Servings – $15.99

These corn cakes are easily prepared in the toaster as a dessert or alongside a meal. You can also make these for breakfast and start your day with a warm treat. I don't eat much bread, especially cornbread, so I was surprised by how much I loved it. It's like cornbread and a blueberry muffin in one.

A mix of Broccoli, Peas, Corn, Onions, Virgin Olive Oil, Garlic Salt, Dry Basil, and Cumin. make for a great side dish to any main dish. This is best prepared thawed; just bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 15-20 mins. These vegetables cooked nicely and made for a great side dish.

These russet potatoes have been baked, then scooped out to mix the potatoes with sour cream, creamery butter, cheddar cheese, and then mix till smooth. Finally, bacon bits are added, along with green onions. These were another favorite side dish. I like to cook much, so I never make these potatoes, because they take too much work. Everyone in my household loved these! You would never know these were frozen.

This meal was tasty and so easy to make. Just remove from the plastic, heat,, and you have a great-tasting meal. The meat was tender,, and the sauce was tangy and a bit sweet. The meal served three, so I made both containers, giving us leftovers for lunch. YUM!

Meal #1

Magic Kitchen July 2022 Meal Review

Our first meal was the brisket, mac & cheese and potatoes. This was my favorite meal from all the box. The brisket paired nicely with the mac & cheese and the potatoes.

Meal #2

Magic Kitchen July 2022 Meal Review

Our second meal featured the chicken, stuffed baked potatoes and the veggies.

Meal #3 & #4

Magic Kitchen July 2022 Meal Review

The chicken pot pie was big enough to enjoy two full dinners, along with having plenty of bread.

Meal #5 & #6

Magic Kitchen July 2022 Meal Review

We received four flat bread pizzas, so my husband and I enjoyed these for lunch two different days. My children liked the pizzas as well, but they chose to eat left over BBQ over the pizza.

Magic Kitchen July 2022 Meal Review

Final Thoughts: My whole family enjoyed Magic Kitchen. The big favorites in the box were both potato dishes, the macaroni & cheese, the chicken and the bbq. I like that they have a number of different options from a la carte to meal plan programs. Use the code BBTR to save 20% of your order.
