Vellabox June 2021 Candle Subscription Box Review + Coupon

Vellabox subscription box featuring hand-poured candles.
There are three subscriptions: the Lucerna, the Ignis, and the Vivere. The Lucerna is $10.00/month and comes with one 4oz candle per month (25 hour burn time), plus one surprise gift. The Ignis is $20.00 and comes with one 4oz candle per month (50 hour burn time), plus one surprise gift. The Vivere is $30.00/month and comes with one 8oz + 4oz candle per month (25 hour burn time), plus one surprise gift. I received the August Vivere box.

Featured Brand – Broken Top Candle Co.
This company is located in Bend, Oregon, and ran by a mom of 3, Affton Coffelt. The candles are made to be more subtle, unique, and never overpowering. All their products are organic, vegan, GF, paraben-free, phthalate-free, and cruelty-free.
Sea Salt Surf (All Subscribers)
The 8oz candle has notes of jasmine, sweet cream, driftwood, and sea salt. This is a light sweet scent that isn't too overwhelming. It's a soft scent, and this reminds me of something out of a spa. I have this one in my bathroom burning daily.
Coconut Sandalwood (Vivere Only)
This 4oz candle is only in the vivere boxes. This candle has notes of lime, papaya blossom, cedar, and coconut. When I saw coconut in the name, I was very skeptical about the scent. This is actually a fantastic scent. It's a woodsy, deeper scent that reminds me of men's cologne.
Daily Facial Mini Scrubber (Bonus Gift)
The bonus gift comes from Daily Concepts, a company based out of Los Angeles, California. This has a soy-based foam material, with a natural cotton base layer with nylon exfoliating loops. This has a fabric pocket to stick your fingers through when you are using it.
Final Thought: The May 2021 Vellabox included two great scents, but the Sea Salt Surf was my favorite. I enjoy exploring new brands and candles each month with Vellabox. Use the code ERIN5 to save $5 on your 1st box.
