Proven Skincare Spring 2021 Review + Coupon

Proven Skincare is a skincare subscription that is customized to you.
Proven Skincare products are made in collaboration with Dr. Hollmig, Head of Aesthetic Dermatology at Stanford University, using active ingredients that are custom-tuned for your skin.
To get started with Proven Skincare, fill out the quiz, then they will match you with a three-piece system that works with your skin. The system is $119/month and evolves with you. Each system consists of a cleaner, SPF day moisturizer, and night cream.

First Look. The products are all packed in the box and there are cards tucked in the top of the box.
The first card breaks down the demographics of my personalization. I did mark out my location for privacy purposes.

The rest of the card discusses air quality, water hardness, UV index and humidity.
Cleanser
My cleanser is also an exfoliator and designed to cleanse the skin from dirt, sebum, and excess oils, as well as calming skin. This is made with plant extracts and free from parabens, phthalates, SLS, or triclosan. To use, remove makeup and apply 1-2 pumps of cleanser on the face in circular motions, then rinse with lukewarm water. This doesn't have much of a scent. and leaves your skin feeling clean.
Key Ingredients
- Mandelic Acid – This is an advanced almond-derived AHA that exfoliates, firms, brightens skin while decreasing the appearance of large pores.
- Sodium Hyaluronate – A natural sponge that helps plumps the skin by retaining moisture.
- Azelaic Acid – This gentle yet powerful enzyme helps exfoliate, visibly brighten and strengthen sensitive skin.
SPF Day Moisturizer
This is an antioxidant-enriched moisturizer to protect my skin from my local environment. I know I need to wear sunscreen, but I hate the feel of it on my face. This protects my skin without leaving that sunscreen to feel on my face.
Key Ingredients
- Zinc Oxide – This is reef/ocean safe and protects against UVA/UVB rays.
- Squalane (plant-based) – This is a hydrator regulating oil production, soothes skin, and fighter acne-causing bacteria.
- Green Tea Extract – An antioxidant that prevents cell damage, soothes, nourishes, and protects the skin barrier.
- Bisabolol (German Chamomile) – A anti-inflamatory and anti-microbial that soothes, heals and strengthens your skin.
- Allantoin – A French discovered natural moisturizer, wound healer, fibroblast-proliferator and skin soother.
- Vitamin E – Antioxidant that fights inflammation and moisturizes skin.
- Sodium Hyaluronate – A natural sponge that helps plump skin by retaining moisture.
Night Cream
This night cream combines several serums and night cream in one product. This has a blend of vitamins and other active ingredients to rejuvenate, brighten and boost radiance, while antioxidants and plant extracts improve the long-term health of the skin. This product contains a second-generation retinaldehyde that is near prescription strength. This may cause redness, irritation, dryness, or peeling. - Sclarocarya Birrea Seed(Marula) Oil – This soothes, hydrates, brightens, nourishes, and prevents irritations.
- Ceramide 3 – This forms a protective layer to deal in hydration, soften and plump skin.
- Fermented Echinacea – This is fermented to soothe, nourish and defend skin against environmental and digital pollutants.
- Biofermented Sea Kelp – This is rich in minerals, vitamins, natural skin nutrients, and oil-free hydration.
- Matrixyl 3000 – This soothes redness, brightens dark spots, and calms acne inflammation.
- Granactive Retinol – This is a second-generation near prescription retinoid that has anti-aging, brightening, renewing and acne combating superpowers.
