Vellabox April 2021 Candle Subscription Box Review + Coupon

Vellabox subscription box featuring hand-poured candles.
There are three subscriptions: the Lucerna, the Ignis, and the Vivere. The Lucerna is $10.00/month and comes with one 4oz candle per month (25 hour burn time), plus one surprise gift. The Ignis is $20.00 and comes with one 4oz candle per month (50 hour burn time), plus one surprise gift. The Vivere is $30.00/month and comes with one 8oz + 4oz candle per month (25 hour burn time), plus one surprise gift. I received the August Vivere box.

Vellabox ships by USPS and all the candles are packaged safely in the box.

Each box contains an information card with details about the brands in the box.
Featured Brand – Bare Candle Co.
This company is located in Douglasville, Georgia and ran by a full-time college, Ashlyn. The candles are alll made by hand from making the wick, pouring the candles and applying the stickers.
Avacado + Mint (All Subscribers)
Every Vellabox subscriber will receive this candle. It has notes of garden mint, jasmine, neroli, and lemon peel. This has more of a lemon and mint scent. I wasn't sure what to expect from an avocado candle, but it was much better than expected.
Rain + Sugarcane (Vivere Only)
The smaller candle is only in vivere boxes. This candle has notes of dewy citrus, lush greens, sugar, and musk. This candle smells like a sweet spring rain when the rain mixes with the scent of flowers.
Dwarf Marigold Seeds – Bonus
Once you have burned a Vellabox candle, clean out the candle, fill with 1/3rd of the seeds and wait for them to grow. I love the idea of reusing old candles for new purposes.
Final Thought: The April 2021 Vellabox included two great scents, it's hard to select a favorite. I enjoy exploring new brands and candles each month with Vellabox. Use the code ERIN5 to save $5 on your 1st box.
