Get Basic is a clothing subscription that sends men's and women's basics like t-shirts, socks, and underwear each month.
Boxes are $24.99/month and come with a matching shirt, a pair of underwear, and socks.
All clothing has natural and sustainable fabrics. When you sign up, you select men (Basic Man) or women (Basic Woman), your shirt size, and your underwear size. Basic Man carries sizes small to 2XL. All the products, including packaging, contain sustainable fabrics and materials, including recycled water bottles.
I was sent Basic Man for review. From Basic Man “Most cotton underwear retains a lot of bacteria, even after washing and that’s why you should make the switch. Our products are made from sustainable materials and recycled water bottles but also have antimicrobial properties.”
Everything shipped in a polymailer bag.
The t-shirt and underwear are in individual bags.
Basic Man Maroon T-Shirt Each t-shirt has a tagless label that fades as it starts to wear out. Once the label fades, it's time to recycle it and enjoy a new Basic Man shirt. The shirt is made of 60% combed cotton and 40% REPREVE® recycled polyester which keeps you cool and dry.
Each shirt has the folowing features:
- Tagless label
- Athletic cut
- Soft cotton blend
- Pre-washed
- Made of repreve recycled polyester.
This shirt is amazingly soft and comfortable. We washed the shirt and my husband wore it the next day. The maroon color is great and the fit is perfect.
Basic Man Socks The crew socks contain 80% cotton, 17% REPREVE® recycled polyester, and 3% elastic. The socks fit sizes 8-12. My husband wears a 13 shoe, and these socks fit perfectly. You won't always receive crew socks; each month will have different length socks. There is elastic around the arch to have the best fit. The soles have extra cushioning and the seems are flat, so they are more comfortable. The socks are soft and very comfortable wear.
Basic Man Boxer Briefs Basic Man briefs contain bamboo viscose fabric with spandex to prevent bacteria growth. There is 92% REPREVE® recycled polyester in 2 mesh zones to keep cool and dry. Like the shirt, the briefs are tagless, and the band is extra soft nylon. My husband reports that these are even more comfortable than the shirt.
