Vellabox November 2020 Candle Subscription Box Review + Coupon

Vellabox subscription box featuring hand-poured candles.
There are three subscriptions: the Lucerna, the Ignis, and the Vivere. The Lucerna is $10.00/month and comes with one 4oz candle per month (25 hour burn time), plus one surprise gift. The Ignis is $20.00 and comes with one 4oz candle per month (50 hour burn time), plus one surprise gift. The Vivere is $30.00/month and comes with one 8oz + 4oz candle per month (25 hour burn time), plus one surprise gift. I received the August Vivere box.

Featured Brand – Bookend Candle Co
This company is located in Ypsilanti, Michigan. All the candles are 100% soy and made with cotton wicks. The candles are free of dyes, phthalates and each candle is hand poured.
Soy Wax The soy wax we use is produced from soybeans grown in the US. Some of the benefits of soy wax are that it burns cleaner and slower than other waxes. Soy is a renewable and sustainable resource that is carbon neutral and eco-friendly. And as a bonus, soy wax is naturally vegan.
Cotton Wick The wicks we use are made up of braided cotton with thin paper threads to provide structure without the need of a core. They are zinc and lead free.
Fragrance Oils All of our fragrance oils are phthalate-free and do not require a prop 65 warning. We choose to use fragrance oils over essential oils due to better scent throw, cost, and overall performance.
Coffee House 8oz All subscribers will be receiving this candle. It has notes of coffee, hazelnut, and sweet creme. While I don't drink coffee, I love the smell of my husband's coffee in the morning. My husband drinks hazelnut coffee, so I know he will want this candle for his office.
Cozy Sweater This candle is exclusive to the vivere box and it happens to be my favorite. It has notes of cinnamon bark, roasted chestnuts, and vanilla. This canlde smells like warm snicklerdoodle cookies.
Sukk Straws Silicone Straws This company is based out of Los Angeles. This silicone straw is a nice bonus gift for subscribers.
Final Thought: Both candles smelled fantastic, but the cozy sweater won me over. Vellabox is a fun subscription to get new scents each month. Use the code ERIN5 to save $5 on your 1st box.
