Simply Earth October 2020 Review + Free Gift Card + Bonus Box

Simply Earth is an essential oil subscription box.
Boxes are $39.00/month and come with 4 100% essential oils, plus all the extra items to make 6 recipes.

First Look.
The regular monthly boxes come in a smaller brown box. The October box was tucked in the larger bonus box. The theme for October is “DIY Spa Day”
September 2020 Essential Oils
Autumn Air This is a new custom blend from Simply Earth that is made of lemon, orange, balsam fir, ho wood, and cassia essential oils. This has a nice sweet and warm scent, perfect for autumn.
Breathe Easy This blend is a combination of fir needle, cedarwood, frankincense, and myrrh essential oil. This essential oil is designed to open up your nasal passages.
Eucalyptus I love using this for when my allergies get bad or when I am sick. This helps with mental clarity and awakens your senses.
Mandarin This is a combination of sweet and orange scents. I typically don't enjoy orange scents, but I love this one.
Extras
Stickers The box came with a sheet of stickers for the essential oils and the receipe bottles.
I did have to cut out the labels but they look nice on top of the bottles. You can sit them in your storage container and are able to see what the bottle are by just glancing.
Emulsifying Wax + Vegetable Glycerin Both of these ingredients will be used to make some of the recipes.
Spray Bottle The spray bottle will be used to make a body spray.
Recipes
- It's Fall Y'all This recipe is for an essential oil blend of autumn, mandarin, and breathe easy.
- The Best Natural Lotion You can make a natural lotion with glycerin, emulsifying wax, coconut oil, beeswax, almond oil, eucalyptus, and mandarin.
- Cleansing Foot Soak After a long day, make this foot soak. It's a blend of eucalyptus, autumn air, coconut oil, and Epson salt.
- Natural Hydrating Body Spray The body spray uses distilled water, glycerin, almond oil, emulsifying wax, and breath easy essential oil. This will be great to use during the colder winter months.
- Exfoliating Body Polish Colder weather brings colder weather and rough skin. Make this body scrub with almond oil, emulsifying wax, sugar, mandarin, and autumn air essential oils.
- Muscle Soothing Roll-On This roll oil uses eucalyptus, mandarin, and coconut oil. I made this one for my son.
The “It's Fall Y'all” is a great fall scent that I have been using in my difusser. The muscle roll on is great for my son to use after long runs.
Bonus Box
6 – 5ml Bottles These empty bottles are used to make you own essential blends. I used one them to make the “It's Fall Y'all” blend.
6 – Roll-On Bottles I used one of these bottles to make the muscle-soothing roll on. Save these for future projects from Simply Earth.
Almond Oil This is used in the body polish, body spray, and the lotion. This is a 4 oz bottle that should last a long time.
Coconut Oil and Fractionated Coconut Oil The bonus box contains two different types of coconut oil for many of the different types of recipes.
Beeswax The beeswax will be used for the lotion receipe.
Final Thoughts: I really enjoyed Simply Earth. I used essential oils regularly but I don't tend to make different recipes. This box includes all the items you need to make 6 recipes so you can use essential oils in different ways.
