First Look. The theme for July is “Under the sea”.

The back of the card has all the different possible pottery pieces for the month. There are also little facts for each of the creatures.

Paint

Paint The box came with 10 different paints. There is more than enough paint for all the pieces, plus more creations.

Paint Brushes

Paint Brushes There were two sets of paint brushes. One wider brush and one detail brush.

Apron

Apron Your box comes with an apron so your child doesn't get paint everywhere. The apron is made small enough, just right for a child. It fit both my 8-year-old and 11 year old.

Shark

Shark My 11 year old chose to paint this one first. He loves the ocean and is facinated with sharks.

Turtle

Turtle This cute little guy was my 8 year old's choice. I like his sleepy looking eyes.

Mermaid

Mermaid This mermaid has many little details to paint. This piece is a good size too.

Sea Horse

Sea Horse This guy reminds me of the sea horse on the movie, The Little Mermaid. I really want to paint this one myself.

Paint Palettes

Paint Palettes PotteryBox included a large card with four paint palettes on the back. You can cut these apart and there is one for each of the pottery pieces.

You can check out PotteryBox on their social media provided. There is also an email and phone number for their customer service. It's rare that a subscription box company will give out their phone number so easily.

Coloring Sheets

Coloring Sheets There are two coloring sheets that were themed around “under the sea”.

Tablecloth

Tablecloth The box included a large tablecloth to protect your table. The table cloth is a long rectangle, so it will cover your entire table.

Button

Button Each box comes with a themed button. Your child can put these on their backpack or apron.

Painting

My children liked having two different size brushes for detail work and larger areas.

My oldest doesn't normally do art projects, but he really enjoyed this piece.

These are the two finished pieces and my boys still have two other pieces they can paint!

Final Thought: This box was fun for both of my kids. We are not going out and so my kids have been bored at times. This is a great box to beat out bordom and give kids something creative to do. The box included plenty of supplies for all four pieces. If you want to try PotteryBox, use the code NEWSLETTER to get $5 off.
