I was sent $60 worth of meals to review. Both of my boys selected some meals they wanted to try.

The box was shipped by FedEx. When you open the box, there was a large ice pack on top.

All the meals were neatly packaged in the box.

The box included a two-sided brochure about the Nurture Life subscription.

This paper activity sheet is one of those fun fold and play things I made as a kid.

There was a note from Nuture Life in the box too.

Cheesy Pesto Tortellini This meal is made to be enjoyed cold. The meal comes with grilled chicken, and cheese tortellini covered in pesto sauce. The fresh carrots adds a veggie to the dish. My oldest son loves pesto pasta, so he selected this dish. He loved it!

Chicken Meatball Slider with Carrots & Pear Slices This meatball sandwich was a hit with my youngest son. He did have to add ranch to the carrots and sandwich, but he does that with every meal. The meatball is a flat patty and comes with a side of tomato sauce to add.

Chicken Bites with Mashed Sweet Potatoes & Green Beans I know my 8-year-old would enjoy this meal. Green beans is one of the veggies he likes but typically he liked just mashed potatoes. After persuading him to try them a few times, he decided they weren't too bad. The nuggets were the favorite part of the meal.

Build – Your – Own Pizza with Italian Sausage & Apple Slices Both of my boys selected this meal to try. They both love Lunchables pizza, and this takes it to the next level. The pizza bread tasted like pita bread. The kit comes with tomato sauce, cheese, and meat! The apple slices were juicy and fresh. One of my kids made sausage pizza while the other preferred cheese and ate the meat separately.

Mac & Cheese with Cauliflower My oldest loves mac & cheese so I was hoping this would be popular. He doesn't love cauliflower, so I was a bit nervous about this one. He liked this, but he said the texture was a bit different.

Final Thought This was a fun subscription to try with my children. It's important for me that they have healthy meals. As a busy mom, it's hard to stay on top of planning 3 meals a day while working. This is a nice subscription to add to your weekly meal planning. It's great for those busy days when you want to throw a meal together quickly. If you want to try Nurture Life for your family, use the code SUBSCRIPTIONMOM to get $15 off your 1st box.
