Ipsy Glam Bag Plus is a beauty subscription from Ipsy.
Subscriptions are $25.00/month and contain five full-size makeup items personalized to you. Each box is valued at $120.00 or more. Ipsy Glam Bag Plus also sends a deluxe makeup bag every month.
Ipsy also has a regular subscription. For $12.00 a month, you get a glam bag full of 4-6 beauty items.
Glam Bag Ultimate is $50.00/momth and contains 8 full-size products and 4 deluxe-size samples.
Once you get your bag, you can review your items online, and tell Ipsy what you think. When you complete reviews, you earn points, which can be redeemed for special items.
Ipsy now ships in a pink polymailer bag, instead of a box.
The makeup comes in a little drawstring bag. One of my items was too big, so it didn't fit in the bag.
The theme for August is “The Future Is Yours”.
LARUCE Face Set $134.00 I enjoy face brushes, so I selected the brush set from LARUCE. The set came with a flat angled brush, kabuki, tapered face, and a contour blending brush. I didn't have a kabuki brush until today and I love it.
111SKIN Cryo ATP Sports Booster $135.00 This serum promises to help with texture and to energize and tighten skin. This also helps with the apperance of pores. I am trying this out to see if it works.
Wander Beauty Catch the Light Highlighter & Glowtion in Celestial $34.00 This is a beautiful highlighter. Twist off the top for a stick illuminator that’s great for adding a healthy sheen to your cheekbones. Then, twist off the stick for a liquid formula with microfine pearl pigments that reflect light, aka an IRL Insta-filter. I love the stick illuminator the most. The liquid highlighter is beautiful, but it's tricky to just get a small bit.
Huda Beauty Demi Matte Cream Liquid Lipstick in Bonnie $20.00 I think this is my first lip product from Huda Beauty. I love this pink-nude color and the formula. This applies easily like a gloss and dries matte, but it's not too matte.
Illamasqua Loaded Lip Polish in Glaze $25.00 This clear lip gloss is made with babassu and jojoba oils. This gloss glides right on your lips. This goes great with the Huda liquid lipstick.
Final Thought: The August 2020 box was pretty great. I love the highlighter, and the lip products the most. I also really liked the brushes. If you want to subscribe to Ipsy, just use this link.
