My tea arrived in a cardboard shipping envelope. I was sent five samples of tea to review.

Lemon Ginger (Black Tea) This tea is a combination of black tea, pineapple, lime, lemon pieces, lemongrass leaves, calendula, sunflower petals, ginger and natural flavors. Steep for 2-3 mins at 212 °F.
My husband’s take: This has a noticiable lemon scent with average taste. This wasn’t my favorite flavored tea, but it helped soothe my allergies.

Niagara Icewine (Black Tea) This tea is made of black tea, white tea, currants, natural flavors, and Ontario icewine. Icewine is made from frozen grapes. They are hand-picked in temperatures of -8 °F and extracted before thawing out. Steep for 2-3 mins at 212 °F.
My husband’s take: This is a fruity tea is sweet and doesn’t require creme or honey. This is one of my favorite teas in the shipment.

Earl Grey (Black Tea) This tea contains black tea, cornflower petals, and natural flavors. Steep for 2-5 mins at 212 °F
My husband’s take: The Earl Grey tea is acidic and is best with some creme and honey.

Summer Pie (Fruit Tea) This tea contains elderberries, currants, hibiscus petals, and natural flavors. Steep for 3-5 mins at 212 °F.
My husband’s take: This tea has a very sweet taste and didn’t require any additional creme or sugar. It had a cherry-like favor. I left the tea leaves in the tea longer than recommended for this one because it really brought out the sweet flavor.

Swedish Mint (Green Tea) This tea contains green tea and natural flavors. Steep for 2-3 mins at 176 °F.
My husband’s take: This is a very minty tea. I liked the mint however, I am not a big fan of green tea.

Final Thought: Dollar Tea Club is a fun tea subscription. My husband enjoyed the Summer Pie and the Niagara Icewine the most. You can try Dollar Tea Club for as low as $1/month, plus shipping ($4.50).
