Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links. I received this box for review.

Witz & Marbles is a mindful activity subscription box for children.

The purpose of this subscription is to raise awareness to children about their feelings and help them open a dialogue with their parents.

Boxes are designed for 4 to 8-year-olds and 9 to 12-year-olds. The subscription is based in Canada, so the prices in USD currency can vary based on current exchange rates.

The Intro boxes are $22.00/month (USD) and come with a themed storybook, activity cards, and monthly feelings tracker. The Premium boxes are $40.36/month (USD) and come with a themed storybook, activity cards, a co-operative game, sensory item, and monthly wellness planner.

The box shipped in a green and purple box.

First Look

The box ships with an information booklet.

Inside the information guide, there is an introduction to “No-Vex Navarre”, the mascot for this box. There is a list of what's in the box, some activities for kids, and background about the founders.

Calendar There are two calendar charts on each side of the paper. Each day, your child can check off different things they have done to get “little wins and a sense of accomplishment”. Some of the objectives are laughing, solving a problem, exercising, meditation, reading, and more.

Daily Activity Cards These cards are designed for children to take control of their stress and do some of the activities on the cards to reduce stress. My favorite cards are printed “Sometimes we tell ourselves we can't do something like ride a bike. We are talking ourselves out of it without even trying. Try this when you are worried about doing something: Breath in, say “I can”. Breath out, say “do anything“. One of my children is struggling with stress and I hope this box helps. We have done some of the activities together and they have helped in stressful moments.

Tangle Jr $6.00 I used to have one of these when I worked outside the home. It's a great stress reliever. The segments of this toy can come apart, so this should not be given to young children.

Stress Can Really Get On Your Nerves Book $9.99 I enjoyed reading this book with my boys. This book is filled with fun graphics and fun ways to explain stress to children. It also discusses ways too handle stress.

Family Pastimes Brainy Games $14.99 This game is a cooperative game, so the family “wins” together. I will fully admit, the directions are very confusing. It took both my husband and me several tries to understand the instructions. Once we figured it out, we did like working together to solve the problem. Overall, my kids didn't love the game enough to want to play the other two versions of the game.

Final Thought: The total value of the items you can purchase is $30.98. This value doesn't include the monthly guide, activity cards, or calendar. I do think the value could be a bit higher and the game wasn't a big hit. Despite these two criticisms, this box was helpful to my son. One of my children struggles with anxiety and this box was a great help to him. The book is a great tool to use with your children and the activities on the cards were also helpful. We have also started using the chart. Witz & Marbles uses a combination of tools to help children with their feeling and help them talk about them to their parents. This was an enjoyable box.
