KidBox is a clothing subscription box for children that you can try FREE.
When you sign up, you will fill out a questionnaire about your child's likes and dislikes. You will be sent 6-7 name brand clothing pieces for $98.00 total. When you get your box, you have 7 days to decide to keep, exchange sizes or not purchase pieces. If you keep the whole box, your card will be charged $98.00 and KidBox will donate clothes to a child in need. You may select to keep only one or two pieces, or none at all, just be sure to make your selections within the 7 days. I love that there is no obligation to buy anything.
I added some items this time, so my items shipped in a large brown box.
First Look
There is a clear packet in the box that includes some crayons, advertisements, letters stickers, return label and information guide.
The information guide includes pricing details for every clothing item in the box. You can buy individual pieces at a discounted rate, or buy the whole box for $98.00. If you don't love your box, you can return everything and pay nothing.
Note: I am using the “individual prices” for all the pieces, not the retail prices. This would be my cost if I kept just one item.
French Toast Boys Raglan Top $9.00 This is a nice light-weight top for spring. Lucas loves the feel/fabric.
French Toast Boys Fleece Hoodie FREE (when you buy the whole box) My son does track and it tends to be cold through the season. This is a nice top to layer over his uniform for warmups or practices.
French Toast Boys Side Stripe joggers FREE (with whole box purchase) It's very hard to find joggers that are long enough but are able to be tightened. These will keep my son warm and they fit small enough so they fit.
Hudson Boys Adjustable Wasit Twill Jogger $31.00 These were the least favorite of the pants. They are a casual pant, not a track jogger. Typically my son wears jeans, but he says he will wear these.
Joe's Jeans Boys Adjustable Waist Jogger $24.00 These ended up being my son's favorite pair of pants. They fit slimmer and are adjustable. They are in a warm fabric too, so he won't get cold.
Lucky Boys Side Stripe Henley $24.00 This was only one of a few shirts in the box. My son liked it. I like the stripe details on the sleeves.
Buffalo Boys Fleece Lined Zip Up Hoodie $27.00 If my son isn't in his school uniform, you will probably find him in a zip-up hoodie. This is a bit oversized and lined with faux fur. My son loves this.
Lucky Boys Adjustable Waist Jogger $33.00 I was a bit surprised to see how many joggers were in the box, but my son loves them all. Lucky is a nice brand and these are a very comfortable pair.
Vintage Havana Boys Ride The Wave Tee $31.00 This t-shirt is made of thinner material but the graphic is nice. I wouldn't pay $31.00 for it, but after my discounts, it was worth it to keep the box.
Weic Boys Gingham Button Down Shirt $25.00 This is perfect for church or a dressier day. I love this!
IXTREME Boys Zip Up Fleece $2.00 Add On This is a size or two too big but it was offered as an add on for only $2.00. I couldn't pass that up as he will grow into it.
IXTREME Boys Quilted Jacket $2.00 This is also a size or two too big but it's a nice winter coat. For $2.00, I easily chose this one too.
Final Thought: The retail total for my box was $321.00. The box would normally be $98.00 but I used a promo and got 50% off, so I paid only $49.00. That works out to less than $5 a piece! This was a great deal and my son loves the box. You can try this service FREE and use my referral link and the code BYEWINTER to save 50% on your first box.
