Backstage Disney is a new Disney subscription box.

Your welcome canister will contain a premium-blend T-shirt featuring exclusive Disney artwork, a highly collectible Disney pin that complements the story on your tee, a behind-the-scenes story card, and a retro-inspired keepsake canister. The welcome canister will change every 6 months. Your on-going subscription will contain a special limited-release T-shirt, pin and other merchandise.
The can this month was themed “Galaxy's Edge”. The can is pretty awesome and is already displayed in my office.
Story Card Each can comes with a story card about that month's items. “It's August 2015 and Disney has announced plans to create an all-new land that will transport Guests to a planet on the edge of the Star Wars galaxy. The new land is years in the making, with Walt Disney Imagineers busy brainstorming the details behind the scenes. They start using the acronym I.T.S (short for Immersive Transportation System) to discuss the primary vessel used in the Star Wars Rise of the Resistance attraction. Later, the vessel equipped with a hyperdrive, along with forward and rear guns to repel pirate attacks during long-haul missions is renamed with the original acronym intact: Resistance Intersystem Transport: Ship (I-TS).”
The Shirt: This is my favorite shirt from our Disney subscription series. This is the ship featured on the ride “Rise of the Resistance”. I can't wait to ride it, though I refuse to look at spoilers.
This is a closer look at the ship.
The sleeve is written in the language featured in the Galaxy's Edge land. I used the Disney translator and it says BSO.
The Pin We received a fantastic metal pin that looks great in our collection,
Final Thought: I love the Galaxy's Edge canister this month. The shirt is great and I love the new pin. If you want to subscription, just use this link.
