Costa Rica Peaberry This coffee is from the Los Santos region of Tarrazú . This coffee is described as sun-ripened cherry fruit and intense, bright Meyer lemon citrus acidity, brought to its finest expression during dark roasting.
The coffee is roasted right before it's shipped to your door. This coffee is good 90 days from the date it's roasted. The bag has an easy to close tap at the top, so your coffee remains fresh.
My husband thought the coffee had a great sweet aftertaste but was a bit too acidic for his preferences. He added milk to the coffee, which helped balance the acidic nature of the coffee.
Final Thought: My husband doesn't drink coffee that often, but he is always excited to get Peet's coffee in the mail. The coffees are all high quality and have interesting flavors.
