Ipsy Glam Bag Plus October 2019 Review
Ipsy Glam Bag Plus is a new subscription from Ipsy. Subscriptions are $25.00/month and contain five full-size makeup items personalized to you. Each box is valued at $120.00 or more. Ipsy Glam Bag Plus also sends a deluxe makeup bag every three months.
Ipsy also has the regular subscription. For $10.00 a month, you get a glam bag full of 4-6 beauty items. Once you get your bag, you can review your items online, and tell Ipsy what you think. When you complete reviews, you earn points, which can be redeemed for special items.
Ipsy has changed the design of their boxes.
First Look
The theme for this month is “Flaunt It”. The information card has details about everything in the box.
Goldfaden MD Doctor's Scrub $38.00 This scrub works to improve the appearance of fine lines, skin color, tone, pores and removes dead skin cells. Most people found benefits after using it for 28 days. I have used this once and it didn't irritate my skin, but I will have to see how it does for 28 days.
Betty Boop x Ipsy Cheek to Cheek Blush Palette $28.00 This Betty Boop X Ipsy collaboration palette has three colors, which are a combination of highlighter and blush.
This palette has a nice blend of three colors. There are two blush colors and one pretty highlighter. The colors are buildable so they work with a variety of skin tones.
F.A.R.A.H Brushes Midnight Pro Trio $48.00 This set of brushes comes with three brushes: Stippling Brush 40FM, Straight 20FF, and, Cheeky End 218. The straight brush is for foundation, cheeky end is for blush and the stippling brush is for highlighter and bronzer. FARAH brushes are nice brushes, but they are quite expensive.
The tips of the brushes are a midnight blue and the brushes have a groove to hold the brushes.
Jules Smith Beauty Power Gloss Duo in Namaste All Day and Serene Queen $32.00 The shade is Serene Queen is a pale pink shade inspired with pink quartz. The other shade is Namaste All Day is a neutral rose with cocoa undertones.
I love both of these colors. They have nice lasting power and they are both beautiful colors.
Jolii Cosmetics Spektra Stick in Stella $26.00 This highlighter is easy to apply and blends well. I didn't expect it to be as bright as it is. This is one of my favorite products in the box.
Ipsy X Betty Boop Bag Ipsy had stopped the makeup bags, so I was happy to see this sequin bag in this month's box.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $172.00. I love the beautiful glosses and the mini palette. This was a great box. If you want to subscribe to Ipsy, just use this link.
