Boxycharm October 2019 Review (PR vs Subscription Box) + Coupon

Boxycharm October 2019 Review
BOXYCHARM is a beauty subscription box that sends a box of beauty items worth over $100.00, now for only $25.00 a month (as of Nov 1st). Each box contains 4 to 5 full-sized beauty products from well-known, chic, and up-and-coming brands. BOXYCHARM sends out full-size products, and each box always has a great value.
PR Box
My review box was much wider than my subscription box.
First Look. I received version 18.
One of the products in the box leaked in my box and make marks on the information card.
Dose of Colors Eyeshadow Palette Sassy Siennas $32.00 There were several different DOC palettes included in subscription boxes, This palette has peaches, siennas, and rusty colors. These are really not my colors at all, but they look good blended out with the right colors. The shadows are cruelty-free, vegan and talc-free.

Iconic London 1 Prep-Set-Glow Spray in Original $29.00 My Iconic London spray was damaged during shipping and the cap was shattered. I believe part of the bottle came unscrewed and that's why it leaked. The spray can be used before you apply makeup or after applying makeup. This contains chamomile, antioxidants, green tea, caffeine, and vitamin E.
This is a look at the spray. It adds a nice glow to your skin without looking too obvious.
Hank & Henry Slick With it Mascara $19.00 I have only used Hank and Henry products through Boxycharm, and I have loved them all. This mascara has two wands, a larger regular wand and a skinnier wand for lower lashes. It promises not to flake or transfer.
The larger brush was nice, though I would've preferred a bit longer brush, but it still made my lashes look great. My lashes looked longer and not clumpy.
The skinny brush was great for my bottom lashes.
Mellow Tinted Brow Gel – Dark Brown $16.00 This brow gel helps keep your brows in place. I have very dark hair, so I thought this would be perfect. This is very pigmented but it kept my brows in place. I applied this with the wand, but next time I am going to try it with a brush. I think that will work well and not be so pigmented.
Hollywood N Vine – Velvety Tough Smooth Kohl Eyeliner $7.00 This kohl eyeliner is a fine pencil that works. This is the one product I am not thrilled with, it's just an ordinary liner.
The pencil is quite black and glides on nicely.
I liked my review box, but I wish that the box was packaged a bit better so the spray bottle cap wouldn't break. I like the palette the most, and while the other products were nice, they weren't particularly exciting.
Subscription Box
My subscription box was much skinner than my review box,
I received version 27.

Dose of Colors Eyeshadow Palette Baked Brown $32.00 I was glad to get a different palette in my second box. This palette is great for day today. I actually wore it tonight and I love the colors. They are brighter than they appear, so I had to do alot of blending.

Iconic London 1 Prep-Set-Glow Spray in Original $29.00 My subscription spray came unbroken. The palette was packaged in bubble wrap, so I think that provided a bit of protection for the spray.
Iconic Lip Gloss – Sex Kitten $26.00 This gloss is similar to liquid lipstick, but more of a gloss. This does plump your lips and lasts a decent amount of time.
Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant $29.50 This is designed to be a leave-on exfoliant to remove dead skin cells on the surface and inside of pores. This also helps to clear and minimizes pores.
Hollywood N Vine – Velvety Tough Smooth Kohl Eyeliner $7.00 This is a fine eyeliner, and now I have two. I will probably give my second eyeliner to aa friend.
Final Thought: The total value for my review box was $103.00 and $125.5 for my subscription box. My subscription box turned out to be my favorite of the two boxes and the higher valued box. I like that Boxycharm doesn't send better boxes to reviewers. It shows Boxycharm is confident in their subscription.
