Vellabox July 2019 Candle Subscription Box Review
Vellabox subscription box featuring hand-poured candles. There are three subscriptions: the Lucerna, the Ignis, and the Vivere. The Lucerna is $10.00/month and comes with one 4oz candle per month (25 hour burn time), plus one surprise gift. The Ignis is $20.00 and comes with one 4oz candle per month (50 hour burn time), plus one surprise gift. The Vivere is $30.00/month and comes with one 8oz + 4oz candle per month (25 hour burn time), plus one surprise gift. I received the July Vivere box.

Vivere Box
The Vivere box shipped in a large yellow box.
First Look. The quote on the inside of the box says “Land of the Free because of the Brave.”
Harper + Ari Coconut Candle 8 oz $18.00 Harper + Ari is a small batch apothecary in Indianapolis, Indiana. The fragrance is Phthalate-free and the candle has a cotton wick. The scent is “sweet vanilla & rum, zested lime & creamy coconut.”. It has a burn time of 40-60 hours and the smell reminds me of the beach.
Harper+Ari Lemon Candle 4 oz $8.00 This candle is my favorite one in the box. It's a hand-poured candle with a fresh lemon scent, perfect for the kitchen. The scent is a combination of “tart lemon, sugar and vanilla cream.” I like the reusable canvas bags that the candles come in as they can be repurposed in a variety of ways.
All Good Certified Organic Coconut Lip Balm $3.50 This lip balm was a nice extra in the box. It's organic, gluten-free, oxybenzone free, reef-friendly and cruelty-free. This prevents chapped lips and smells good too.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $29.50, which is right with the cost of the box. I like that both of the candles were hand-poured and the scents were nice too. The lemon candle was my favorite candle of the box and I already have it burning. Use the code ERIN5 to save $5 on your 1st box.
