Sweetology August 2019 Monthly Decorating Kit Subscription Box Review
Sweetology is a sweets box store that also has one-of-a-kind decorating fun, shipping cookie and cupcake decorating kits nationwide. Boxes are $29.99/month and come with 6 fresh baked cookies or cupcakes, frosting, sprinkles, toppings, pastry bags, decorating tips and instructions. Everything is already made, so all you have to is create!. Sweetology also has other kits you can buy a-la-carte.

All the ingredients ship in an insulated package to prevent melting.
First Look. All the ingredients were carefully packaged. I love the rainbow squiggles.
Sweetology included temporary tattoos, along with different dates and events happening at the shop.
I never bake and rarely make cookies, so I loved that they included a card on how to use a piping bag. I don't think I have ever made one and I didn't own any tools until this subscription.
Decorating Tools and Toppings The box contained 6 different icing cones, sugar decorative pieces, and three different bags of sprinkles. The rad bag are little red hearts.
Icing We were sent five different bags of icing: white, orange, purple, yellow and magenta. I had to mix up the bags before using them, but that's normal.
Cupcakes We received eight cupcakes in all, 4 white, 4 chocolate. Each cupcake was individually wrapped, to maintain freshness. Each cupcake was quite large!
Decorating
My youngest son and I decided to decorate the cupcakes. We got out all the toppings.
The icing bags were very easy for my 7-year-old to use.
He enjoyed using lots of icing and sprinkles.
Our finished cupcakes. The cupcakes turned out great and they tasted fantastic. Each cupcake was moist and just like cake.
Final Thought: My son and I had a great time decorating cupcakes. My son loves to cook but I lack in baking skills. This is a great way for us “non baking” parents to have fun with their kids.
