First Look
The theme for August is “Witchcraft & Wizardly”.
The information card gives details about all the items in the box. Brick artists design many of the builds in the box.
Exclusive 100% LEGO Build Designed by Tyler Clites This build contains real LEGO bricks and features a golden snitch. Tyler Clites designs many of the builds for Brick Loot. The snitch turned out great but there was one finishing piece missing on the earpiece.
Potter's Optical Shop You can imagine Harry opening an optical store. This has an exam chair and glasses display case. I like these mini-city builds but the stickers are not the best. You have to lay them right the very first time because the sticker graphics will peel off onto the brick. The eye exam chart was messed up for this reason.
Harry Potter – Harry's Journey to Hogwarts $5.54 Typically, there are not officially bagged LEGOs included in the box. This set includes Harry, along with his trolley with a cauldron, book and suitcase elements, Hedwig™ the owl in a travel cage, plus Harry’s wand. Hedwig was my favorite part of the set.
Custom LED Lantern You can plug this into the computer and the lantern lights up. I love the light-up accessories Brick Loot includes in boxes.
Final Thought: This was such a great set! I love Harry Potter, so I love this theme. The Golden Snitch build was my favorite build, along with the LEGO Harry Potter build. Use the code “subboxmom” to save 10% off or use the code KIDCEO to save $5.00.
