First Look

The theme for March is “I've Taken A Viking To You”. If you want to skip the story, there is a breakdown of the projects on a card. The box also comes with a sticker.

Each box comes with a new story. When you get to a red brick, you stop and build the challenge build.

Challenge #1 Challenge #1 is to use the Minifigure Challenge pack to build a Viking from the Brickovian Viking clan. The flag seems very fitting for the theme, though the space outfit is a bit off.

Challenge #2 Using the Microbuild Challenge Pack, build a fierce dragon. I love LEGOs, so I decided to get in on the fun with this build. My dragon seems a bit like a dachshund but I like the little fire coming out of his mouth.

Challenge #3 You have to put on a blindfold for this challenge. Then, use the pieces in the blindfold challenge, create a Viking shield. This one turned out pretty well.

Challenge #4 Using the Spotlight Piece and up to 15 other pieces from your collection, build a Viking helmet. A helmet is hard to make, but it was fun to do.

Challenge #4 Using the pieces in the Premier Challenge Pack, build a Viking longship. My 7 year old built this long boat and I thought it turned out great!. My son loved designing his boat.

Final Thought: This subscription is fun for the whole family. My kids enjoy creating new things and being creative. Once we get done making all the builds, my kids take the LEGOs apart and build something new. You can check Booster Bricks at this link.
