First Look

The theme for April is “Brickset Boulevard”. If you want to skip the story, there is a breakdown of the projects on a card. The box also comes with a sticker.

Each box comes with a new story. When you get to a red brick, you stop and build the challenge build.

Challenge #1 Challenge #1 is to use the premier pack and build the archway to the Brickset Studios Archway. My kids always love the premier pack challenge the most, because the pack has the most bricks.

Challenge #2 Using the pieces in the Minifigure Challenge pack and any other pieces from your collection, build the Movie Director. My kids generally use the pieces in the box for the Minifigure challenge. I think this guy is ready to go on set.

Challenge #3 With just the pieces in your Microbuild Challenge pack, build the golf card. There were not any wheels in the pack, so my son had to get creative.

Challenge #4 The blindfold challenge is always the hardest one for my kids. While blindfolded, use the pieces in the pack to build a tree. My 9-year-old kept wanting to peek at the pieces but kept him from looking.

Challenge #5 The final challenge was to use the purple piece, along with 15 other pieces to build the spaceship generator prop. My son used the leftover pieces from the other challenges to build this one.

Final Thought: This was a fun box to do on a rainy day. My kids enjoy building all the challenges and then taking them apart to build new pieces. You can check Booster Bricks at this link.
