You can take up to 5 days to make your choices before sending back your clothing in a prepaid envelope. Clothing runs around $35.00/piece, while accessories run around $12.00. If you keep 2 or more items, you $20.00 styling fee will be applied to the total. If you keep your entire box, you will get 15% off.
I really hate taking my kids clothing shopping and I am often busy to shop online, so I was excited to get another box. For my review, I filled out a profile for my 7 year old.
Mac & Mia ships in a pretty white box with little rainbow dots all over.
First Look
The box came with a return slip and bag for any clothes you don't want. Just check out on your online account, put the clothes in the bag and drop it at any at UPS location. Each box also comes with a booklet with all the items in the box.
Inside, there is a note from your stylist. There is a list of the clothes in the box, along with your purchase price. If you keep everything in the box, you get a 15% discount on your whole box.
Tailor Vintage – Long Sleeve Gingham Shirt $44.00 I asked for a shirt for Easter and Mac & Mia delivered. This gingham shirt is perfect for school pictures and Easter services. This has a pocket on the front and is a great quality shirt.
Nukutavake by Mayoral – Twill Basic Trousers $36.00 These pants are slim fit and adjustable, which my son needs. These are lighter colored pants than the ones he wears to school, so they will make good dress pants. They are comfortable and passed the test for my 9 year old.
DL 1961 – Jax Utility Short $49.00 While these shorts are expensive, I knew my sone would love them. They are the right length, but they don't tighten enough and are too big around the waist.
Appaman – Camp Shorts $33.00 This was another pair of shorts that I wished fit my son. They are stretchy and comfortable, but the drawstring doesn't adjust, it's just decoration.
Joah Love – Ziggy Party Tee $37.00 My youngest son received the same shirt. I am one of those weird parents that love it when my kids match. The grey shirt is comfortable and has black geometric shapes.
Parkland – Rider Drawstring Backpack $20.00 My son loves camo, either to wear or for his room. He is always asking for new bags and backpacks, so he really loved this backpack.
Joah Love Enzo Waves Tee $35.00 My son loves the ocean, and while he like this shirt, it wasn't a favorite. It seemed a bit overpriced for a graphic white shirt, so we passed on this one.
Nukutavake by Mayoral – Basic Cuffed Knit Trousers $28.00 We have trouble finding good quality athletic pants that fit my son. It's hard to find pants with real adjustable waists. These black pants are great to wear over his sports uniforms before events.
Nukutavake by Mayoral – Basic Cuffed Knit Trousers $28.00 These are just like the black pair, only in a dark blue. Both pairs are very comfortable.
Sunuva – Skateboard Shorts $59.00 The first thing I noticed about these shorts was the price. $59 is quite a bit of money for shorts. You could wear these as regular shorts, but they are swim shorts. My son has been wearing too short swim trunks because we can't find any that fit his waist and are long enough. These have an actual drawstring that tightens very small!
Sol Angeles – Cowabunga Waves Crew $44.00 This shirt is great because it's a bit more of a slender fit, and it features the ocean. I haven't decided about this shirt yet, but my son loves it.
Retro Brand – Always on Vacation Tee $28.00 This shirt was my son's favorite one in the box. It's super soft and isn't boxy. I would love to have this shirt in my size.
Final Thought: If I kept everything in the box, I would pay $353.85. That includes the $20 styling fee deduction and the 15% discount for keeping everything. I didn't keep everything in my box, so I will pay less. Use this link and get a $20 credit to use toward your clothing purchases. The styling fee is $20, so this is like trying the box free! Note: If you buy 2 or more items, you will get your styling fee back too!
