Ipsy Glam Bag Plus April 2019 Review

Ipsy Glam Bag Plus is a new subscription from Ipsy. Subscriptions are $25.00/month and contain five full-size makeup items personalized to you. Each box is valued at $120.00 or more. Ipsy Glam Bag Plus also sends a deluxe makeup bag every three months.

Ipsy also has the regular subscription. For $10.00 a month,  you get a glam bag full of 4-6 beauty items.  Once you get your bag, you can review your items online, and tell Ipsy what you think.  When you complete reviews, you earn points, which can be redeemed for special items.

Ipsy Plus ships in a pink box.

First Look

Each box comes with a fold out information card. Each of the products is explained, and there is information about the subscription.

Laura Sanchez Moods Eyeshadow and Highlighter Palette $35.00 This bright palette is the perfect one for spring. The colors are bright but not too bright. I love the pinks and purple colors and the highlighter adds a nice amount of shimmer.

The eyeshadows are beautiful but you do need two or three applications for a pop of color. The bottom two swatches are the highlighters, a champaign color, and an iridescent white color.

Paris Hilton Skincare ProD.N.A. Dual-Action Cleansing Gel $29.00 I didn't know Paris had her own skincare line. This promises to brighten skin, depuff, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. This also helps repair sun damage.

Lovecraft Beauty Blush Palette $39.00 I just ran out of my favorite blush and since it was a limited edition, I need a new one. This palette has three different colors.

1.  Altheda – Rose Tone (Greek for “With Healing Power)
2.  Dauphine – Apricot Tone (Named for a famous French Quarter street in New Orleans)
3.  Oscalia – Deep Rose Tone (Louisiana Creole Name)

Atheda is the lightest of the three blushes. Oscalia is my favorite shade.

Goldfaden MD Bright Eyes $55.00 This product promises you a “facelift in a bottle”. This is made with rice bran extract, soy peptide, organic red tea, and arnica.  The cream helps reduce dark circles, puffiness and fine lines. Between allergies and lack of sleep, I need this to work.

Benefit Cosmetics High Brow Eyebrow Highlighter $22.00 THis pencil goes right under the arch of your brow. You blend in it and it gives your brows a lifted look.

This is a brightening pencil and is similar to Chella.

Final Thought: This box had a total value of $180.00. I love the Moods palette and the blush palette. Ipsy Plus is one of my favorite beauty subscriptions. If you want to subscribe to Ipsy, just use this link.
