First Look. The month box contains foods from Lyon, France.
The information card is glossy with all the foods in the box.
Saveur Magazine $7.99 The was a copy of Saveur magazine in the box.
French Crepes by Jacquet $3.99 These crepes turned out to be my favorite treat in the box. There are 6 crepes in the package and they are individually wrapped. These are free from preservatives, artificial ingredients, and gmos. They taste amazing and could be part of a breakfast or snack.
Dr. Oetker Creme Brulee $4.98 This box contains everything you need to make your own creme brulee. You make creme brulee by chilling and stirring custard, then add a caramelized sugar topping. I have never had creme brulee, but it looks pretty easy to make.
Tresors Gourmands Crispy French Waffle Crackers $4.99 These look like a waffle, but they are actually a cracker that's great with smoked salmon, swordfish and cheese. Subscribers may receive a different flavor.
Petits Tresors Noix De Coco $2.10 The information card mentioned lemon, but I received coconut covered with dark chocolate. My father loves dark chocolate and coconut, so he is going to love getting these in his box of treats.
Trois Petit Cochons Petit Toasts $2.99 These were not listed on the information card, so they must be the bonus item. These are free from artificial flavors and preservatives. Use these for various, spreads, pates and cheeses.
Boca Java Chocolate Cherry Celebration Coffee $2.50 This coffee was included because it complements the other foods in the box but wasn't made in France. This is a bold coffee with sweet notes of chocolate and cherry.
Morello Cherry Preserves by Bonne Maman $1.49 These cherry preserves go great with the coffee I just mentioned. This tastes great in some homemade crepes, and since it is a small size container, it is easy to take to work.
French Press Coffee and Tea Maker $29.00 (Linked to similar) I linked to the closest thing I could find, so I am not sure the exact price for this. This can make coffee or tea and it doesn't take up much room.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $60.43. The food and magazine alone were just over $31.00, so the box had a nice value all the way around. I loved the crepes the most and I know my dad is going to love the Petits Tresors. You can try this box and get 50% off, just use the code 50OFF.
