First Look
The theme for this month is “Yankee”. There is a biography about the featured gentleman in the box, along with all the items in the box. The featured gentleman in the box Derek Jeter
Barry Beaux Tie $39.00 This is a bit of a champagne color with blue flowers and shiny pattern that runs all over the tie. A portion of the proceeds from each tie sold goes to a different charity.
Soft Landing Tie Bar $19.00 Since the featured Gentleman of the month is a baseball player, it's fitting that the tie bar is a baseball bat. This just clips on the tie. You can wear this on opening day, or at a business meeting.
GOTN Socks $15.00 These socks are a blend of cotton, polyester, spandex, and nylon. My husband really enjoyed these socks. The mix of grey and yellow pattern matches one of my husband's shirts. The company has partnered with Lay-Up Basketball to help kids in Toronto go to summer basketball camps.
Dapper Cats Pocket Square $35.00 The pocket square is much brighter than the tie but still keeps with the same color scheme. This company was founded by Chike and Chisom, who wanted affordable accessories with for men.
GOTN Laces $5.00 These laces are from the same company as the socks. The blue laces have a waxy coating to keep them from unraveling and looking bad. Gentleman's Box recommends wearing these with brown shoes.
Listerine Ready Tabs These are a special bonus in the box. They are tabs that turn to liquid when you chew them. You can also swallow the liquid, which sounds a bit gross, but we will see.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $113.00. This box had a great value! My husband loved the socks and the tie clip. If you want to subscribe, use the code EMAIL20 to save $5 on your 1st box. If you are interested in the new Premium box, use the coupon SBM20 to save 20% on your 1st box.
