Learning Crate January 2019 Review
Learning Crate is an educational subscription for children Kindergarten through sixth grade. Boxes are $24.99 and include a personalized box of 7 to 10 items in the box. When you sign up, you will fill out a survey about your child’s interests. You can fill out specific subjects that your child is interested in and their hobbies. There are also boxes to give more details about your child.

First Look. Instead of tissue paper, the books were wrapped in paper and sealed with a personalized sticker.
The Battle of the Bulge by Rick Atkinson $11.10 This book gives you a look into history. The book tells kids about The Battle of the Bulge and includes pictures and maps as well.
Leaving China: An Artist Paints His World War II Childhood by James McMullan $12.94 This book tells a story in pictures of Jim’s life, growing up during WWII. Jim lived in Canada, China, and India, while his father was a British soldier. The book is quite large and has beautiful watercolor images.
Hard Nuts of History: Play the Game (Hard Nut of History) by Tracey Turner $12.95 This book is actually a game. You cut out all the cards in the book and then battle to see who come out on top. It reminds me a bit of pokemon and those types of game.
Pencil, and Erasers Each box comes with a pencil and a few small erasers.
Final Thought: This box had a total value of $54.53. My son has already started the book about The Battle of the Bulge. He loves history, so this book is perfect for him.
