Book of the Month is a book subscription box that sends a brand new book for as low as $10.47/month.
On the first of the month, you log into your account and choose between five different books, picked out by Book of the Month Judges. There are authors, editors and more on the judging panel. There is also one guest judge each month. You must make your selections by the 14th, or Book of the Month will pick for you. If you don't like any of the books, you can skip!
Once you make your book selection, you can add up to two books to your account for $9.99/each. Once you get your book, you can log into your account and join the discussions.

When you receive your book, it will be wrapped in plastic with a cardboard piece and there is a bookmark.
Each book is wrapped in plastic and packaged on a larger cardboard card.
Golden State by Ben H. Winters The world has changed and now the biggest crime is lying. Laszlo Ratesic works for the Speculative Service which is in charge of investigating lies. The people in charge manipulate what is actually “truth”, so the only ones that can fight back are the ones with the Speculative Service.
Maid by Stephanie Land This book is about the author's journey to achieve her dream. She was a maid to the upper middle class and learned that they had their own problems too, which gave Stephanie hope for her future. She writes about being on WIC, government housing and the realities of the working poor.
The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides Alicia ends up shooting her husband Gabriel five times in the face. Afterward, Alicia refuses to speak. Theo Faber is the therapist assigned to Alicia and he is determined to get her to talk.
Golden Child by Claire Adam The story is about two 13 year old twins. One is considered a genius (Paul) and the pride of the family. The other is considered odd (Clyde) and ends up disappearing. Once Clyde's dad learns the truth, he finds out heartbreaking news.
The Night Tiger by Yangsze Choo This book is a bit different from the rest. It has to do with a missing finger and the connection to a dressmaker, houseboy and a man-eating tiger.
