First Look
The theme for November is “Thanksgiving Feast”.
When you open the brochure, there are details about all the snacks in the box.
Kit Kat Cranberry Almond Minibar I never knew how many different kinds of Kit Kats there were until I started getting them in subscription boxes. This is a tradition Kit Kat bar with crushed almonds and cranberries on top.
Osatsu Doki Sweet Potato Chips: The information card said these were apple pie flavored, but they tasted just like sweet potato chips to me. They are a flat chip that reminded me of kettle chips.
Bourbon Bit Chocolate Crunch I think this was my favorite treat in the box. This is a rich chocolate, filled with almonds.
Coris Plum Chewy Candy These plum candies are a soft candy with multiple layers of flavors. The flavor was plum, but there were sweet and tangy notes in the candy.
Gudetama White Chocolate Bar White and milk chocolate coat this cookie. It's very rich and sweet.
Pine Sherbert Pero Fun Dip Lollipop This is a cola flavored sucker that you can dip in sugar. My boys both tried this and weren't big fans, but the concept of the candy is cool.
Calbee Jagaee Osatsubee Sweet Potato Chips If you like sweet potato fries, you will love these. These are crunchy chips in the shape of fries.
Kanro Pure Gummy Mixed Berry Flavor These gummies are made with real fruit juice and have vitamin c in there too. My kids love these and have almost finished the box.
Meiji Gochi Sour Plum Gummies These are a very soft gummy, but similar to the pure gummies. My 6-year-old loved these. You can really taste the plum.
Bonchi Ponsuke Arare Crackers These look like a cereal, but they are rice cracker bursts with sesame sauce. They have a crunchy cracker texture with a sweet sauce.
Final Thought: My whole family enjoyed this box. I loved the chocolate and my kids loved the gummies. If you like Japanese candy, check out this box. If you want to try Japan Candy Box, use this link with the code GETCANDY for $5.00 off.
